@irbe111 This program is called T-Splines for Rhino. You can download the trial version from the T-Splines website. This video was using version 1, but we will soon be in version 3. If you liked this video then you will love v2 and v3.
my box at the begining has so many more lines in it then yours. i make it 3x4 but as soon as i finalize it- a million little rectangles make up each square. how can i fix this?
@TheUltimateSmile I'm not exactly sure what your question is. This is version 1 and we are currently on v2. Could you explain your issue further? What do you mean by finalize, do you mean convert to NURBS? Feel free to email us with screenshots and more in depth descriptions. support at tsplines.com
once you type in meshbox on the command tool and hit enter, you get i line telling you to start a corner point followed by an open bracket with x,y and z axis. click on each individual axis and type in 3,4 and 1 or anyother way you want. so when you draw the box, the shape is divided into your size.
@emmeduemme This video was made a few years ago. The current version of the software is much more advanced and easier to use, so the commands will be a bit different.
how do you extrude the surfaces so nice and straight in perspective window? Mine keep getting pulled to the Cplane...argh m sure its something simple!!!
Very helpful for absolute beginners. The major thing that would be more helpful would be better resolution so that viewers can read the words in the toolbars, etc. Thanks.
guys i want to ask when iam making box mash my box have alot of faces not like 4 to 5 faces . it is like hundrads . could u tell me how can i change it ? thank s
either you go via meshbox or directly tsbox comand, the original box shouldnt be xFaces 3, and y 4 faces to make it look as in the video? if not I got bit lost ...
I've got some troubles when I'm trying to remove crease. I clicked on "remove creases" and then (I am not sure what I should do) click on left object but red crease does not appear on my screen. At this moment I cannot select crease or something. After I press ENTER nothing is happening.
After you are in the "remove creases" command, click on "SelectAll" in the command line, then mouse over your object until it highlights. Then hit enter. All creases will be removed.
These videos are great. I did have my beginner experiments with the trial a while back (when i was released the first time), and even if i didn't accomplish anything worthwhile, it was still quite fun and it's very easy to see how much it improves rhino. Also, whoever is on voice in these videos, keep it up! I find myself smiling on all of these Tsplines videos :D
I'd love to see a T-Splines Rhino video that shows modeling a car body, aircraft, etc. start to finish that includes the 2D prints or pictures needed.
I rated this video five stars because I strongly believe this is the direction to go in when showing what T-Splines can do and for attracting new users.
For those that have done NURBS modeling it's pretty obvious how much of a radical improvement using T-Splines could be. The reason I say could be is because until I use it myself and do a major project it's hard to be fully convinced. Having a place to download 2D prints or pictures needed to start modeling such a project would also be a requirement.

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of t-splines but I can't find the t slpines menu..where is it?
jajajah86 1 year ago
@jajajah86 It should be next to the "help" menu. If it is not there then send an email to support at tsplines.com and we'll help you.

When you are in the MeshBox command, make sure the XFaces=4, YFaces=3, and ZFaces=1.
tsplines 3 years ago
And how can I modify those meshbox commands?
s3ntin3l93 2 years ago
either you go via meshbox or directly tsbox comand, the original box shouldnt be xFaces 3, and y 4 faces to make it look as in the video? if not I got bit lost ...
