My wobble wont work in the piano roll, but when i slick to like sample the sound it wobbles but not when i input a not and play it in the piano roll.... its just a straight synth. no wobble. can someone plz help!
@DJmyxup I had the same problem before, you should not press the sync button at LFO 5, you should just spinn the button untill you got the the wobble you want! Hope I helped you ;)
Does anyone know if there is a way to assign the different wobble tempos to a pad controller so like if you hit one pad it would go in 1/4 and another pad could 1/32?
im a noob at this, im just wondering why im getting a different sound when i press play, than the sound im getting when i press the keys in piano roll. everything is connected to massive, idk whats wrong
Hey everyone, I've seen this question a couple of times, but I've been unable to find an answer, help would be very much appreciated. My envelopes/LFO's don't have the white lines that I see in most tutorials. does this effect any functions of the loops and breakpoints in the envelopes, or is it just a visual difference?
Using frooty loops, how to i change the LFO rate for differant parts of the song. because i have only been able to keep it as one rate for the whole massive or it will change the song.
Hey can someone help me out, I used this tutorial and got my massive preset to wobble. My problem is that when I try to place the wobble in the pattern in flstudio 8, the sound just comes out monotone, no wobble. Help?
@deejayzyx see thats what gets me about dj's... make money from other peoples work, at least there are some real dj's out there who make their own samples and actually know how to write actual music instead of sampling other musicians hard work. Whooo look at me i can press buttons.
For all those who have the Mod 5DEN issue, theres a much easier way. When you click on ANYTHING in the massive interface, your DAW (FL, or Ableton, or whatever your using) Will automatically open a modulating interface for that track, so when you get to the part where you can choose your fractions, 1/1 1/2 1/3 etc, just click on the bottom number, exit massive and u are good to start modulating
goto my site ive got 10 free wobbles im giving away they are the best you can find also have a pack for sale for 10 dollars you get 150 of the best wobbles from datsik bassnectar skrillex etc etc watch?v=ErmqHG1VHXY
@TheTotomoso In your massive, find the LFO you are using, and i don't know if you know what sine and saw waves are, but set your bottom wave to saw for a nice sharp tone, and set your top one to sine for that smooth rising touchup. Also, if your sine wave is not perfectly centered it will be really distorted, so heres a crude little picture of what it should look like:
this is how it starts out-^--- this is how you want it to look --^-- just right there in the middle. hope this helps.
@KromeBeats i did exactly what you said. i'm in the browser and i'm scrolling through all the parameters. i even tried ctrl + f and searched for MOD 5 DEN but no results :/
Can someone please help me. This never use to happen on my old computer but on this new one, when I make a wobble or even any sound on Fl Studio, the first sound comes out really loud. Imagine the capital letter means loud for every 4 wobs - Wob wob wob wob Wob wob wob wob Wob wob wob wob etc... Why is it doing this? :(
@voodootrash Thank you for your advice, I realised that I weren't being observant enough, it was just Massive VST so I installed it again and it worked fine, but thanks anyway mate.

when i change the ratio to 1/8 my bass doesn't wobble, but when i turn sync off and use the rate knob, it does (but a kinda crappy version of this). anyone know how i can fix that?
@OrphicMusic you can, at least in Logic. The LFO rate appears among the parameters that can be automated in the channel automation submenu for Massive (modulator no. 5 in the case of this tutorial). I don't know with other DAWs though; I am sure on midi controller or desk there is a way to assign a fader to it and record the changes as audio. Beware that (at least in Logic) the ratio cannot be automated if you activate the sync, at least I could not find it in the submenu.
@OrphicMusic If you click move the rate a little bit, and then click Wrapper Settings (If you're using FL Studio) and then click "Browse Parameters," it'll take you to it. Then just right click, Create automation clip. There you go, bud. Cheers.
@OrphicMusic Open the drop down box at the top left of the preset and click browse parameters. Then right click whichever one you want to make an automation clip of and do so. It should be the one named Modulator 5 den. That's the one to change the denominator in the ratio.
@leptoon I don't have it synced to any midi devices. If that's what you're talking about. Otherwise, I did everything I just said and it worked just fine. I just did it again a minute ago. In FL10.
@OrphicMusic If you have the latest version of Massive, you can automate the LFO rate fractionally. Just smack in the corresponding envelope and it's certainly possible.
@OrphicMusic hm, when i had massive 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 it didnt work to record the LFO rate, but when i upgraded to 1.1.5 i could record the movement of the knob, i use FL btw:3
@OrphicMusic I know.. you can click in the drop down menu @ fl studio: browse parameters and then you have all the parameters and then click MODERATOR1 or something and click right - make automation clip.
@OrphicMusic if your talking about what i think when you have massive up click lfo 5 or which ever one your using and in that tab there is a bar that says lfo in the right corner of it click it switch to performer click load curve on the left side click which curve you want place into the performer tab which will now be open when you had the lfo setting on its hard to explain inbox me if you want me to do a short straight to the point tutorial on it and i def will if you want :)

@OrphicMusic in FL Studio you can "make an editor thumbnail" by right clicking the top left of the VST area and then you can create an automation clip for any of the parameters on your synth. Not so sure about other DAWs though :)
@OrphicMusic in FL Studio you can "make an editor thumbnail" by right clicking the top left of the VST area and then you can create an automation clip for any of the parameters on your synth. Not so sure about other DAWs though :)
You can create an automation clip for anything, you just need to know how. Try searching for "FL Studio third party VST automation clip" or something along those lines. It's a little tedious, but it's a must-know.
@awkwardmaniac Before you try to savage your dignity with saying I spelled check wrong, you should know I'm typing on my iPod. So come on. Write something. Give it your best shot. Prove your immaturity to Youtube, and remember. Slow breaths. Think hard. And turn off Dora.
@awkwardmaniacs cause one day, well I'll just leave it there knowing that you know everything. Good day and before you bash his spelling, chech your grammer. Capitalize. That much further from Spongebob.
@awkwardmaniacs Wow. It's time to grow up man. First off, 13?! Really? You're not a child anymore so stop acting like it. The man asked a question. Thats it. Why freak out and be a little ignorant kid. Answer and walk away. Also, what is he a noob of. Get your context right because you sound like a 10 year old. I guess that isn't saying much putting it as you even admitted to being the total opposite of mature, even though you're a teenager. Grow up a little and stop acting like a know it all,
How do I automate the ratio (or at least link it to a MIDI controller)? I tried right-clicking so I could select "Create automation clip", but nothing happens when I right-click.
Awww wow, kids learning how to use mod wheels. Dubstep is child shit.

@OrphicMusic Set one of the LFO's to a stepper, make the stepper modulate the first LFO rate
Jacob15728 5 months ago
@OrphicMusic connect a macro to it and change the rate by moving the macro
MLGQUINCYandfriends 5 months ago
@OrphicMusic you can, at least in Logic. The LFO rate appears among the parameters that can be automated in the channel automation submenu for Massive (modulator no. 5 in the case of this tutorial). I don't know with other DAWs though; I am sure on midi controller or desk there is a way to assign a fader to it and record the changes as audio. Beware that (at least in Logic) the ratio cannot be automated if you activate the sync, at least I could not find it in the submenu.
leolita2001 5 months ago
@OrphicMusic If you click move the rate a little bit, and then click Wrapper Settings (If you're using FL Studio) and then click "Browse Parameters," it'll take you to it. Then just right click, Create automation clip. There you go, bud. Cheers.

@SFxMusic awesome man, just what i was lookin for. thanks a ton!
OrphicMusic 5 months ago
@OrphicMusic Open the drop down box at the top left of the preset and click browse parameters. Then right click whichever one you want to make an automation clip of and do so. It should be the one named Modulator 5 den. That's the one to change the denominator in the ratio.
travisnotcool 5 months ago
@travisnotcool There's no parameter for the LFO 5 denominator. It's not possible to automate the LFO when synced.
leptoon 5 months ago
@leptoon I don't have it synced to any midi devices. If that's what you're talking about. Otherwise, I did everything I just said and it worked just fine. I just did it again a minute ago. In FL10.

@OrphicMusic Tweak the wobble, go up to tools>last tweaked>create automation clip
IssigalltheWonderful 5 months ago
@OrphicMusic dragging the performer to the cutoff would do the job and no its not possible to create an automation clip for the lfo rate.
MrBasilawartani 5 months ago
@MrBasilawartani On the contrary, it's very possible. And very easy, depending on your DAW.

@OrphicMusic That's possible

@shomazta ahhh you lucky son of a bitch
xBryanTechx 4 months ago
@OrphicMusic If you have the latest version of Massive, you can automate the LFO rate fractionally. Just smack in the corresponding envelope and it's certainly possible.
Kwontarded 4 months ago
@OrphicMusic Ableton does it on his own
djdannygold 4 months ago
@OrphicMusic Yes, you tweak the knob for LFO rate and then (in fl studio) click last tweaked-->create automation clip
OuijaMagick 4 months ago
@OrphicMusic go to the performer and set the wobbles there
MEEDProductions 4 months ago
@OrphicMusic hm, when i had massive 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 it didnt work to record the LFO rate, but when i upgraded to 1.1.5 i could record the movement of the knob, i use FL btw:3
linki33 4 months ago
@OrphicMusic I know.. you can click in the drop down menu @ fl studio: browse parameters and then you have all the parameters and then click MODERATOR1 or something and click right - make automation clip.

@OrphicMusic
You can map it into abletop i think
SeeJaysOnly 4 months ago
@OrphicMusic you can create an automation clip for the lfo rate. Just assign another lfo to the rate, then make the second lfo a stepper sequence.
Slasher32 4 months ago
@OrphicMusic in FL Studio you can "make an editor thumbnail" by right clicking the top left of the VST area and then you can create an automation clip for any of the parameters on your synth. Not so sure about other DAWs though :)

@OrphicMusic I'm wondering about this also...
Zher0kool 3 months ago
@Zher0kool

David8Parkour 5 months ago
@awkwardmaniacs cause one day, well I'll just leave it there knowing that you know everything. Good day and before you bash his spelling, chech your grammer. Capitalize. That much further from Spongebob.
David8Parkour 5 months ago
@awkwardmaniacs Wow. It's time to grow up man. First off, 13?! Really? You're not a child anymore so stop acting like it. The man asked a question. Thats it. Why freak out and be a little ignorant kid. Answer and walk away. Also, what is he a noob of. Get your context right because you sound like a 10 year old. I guess that isn't saying much putting it as you even admitted to being the total opposite of mature, even though you're a teenager. Grow up a little and stop acting like a know it all,
David8Parkour 5 months ago
How do I automate the ratio (or at least link it to a MIDI controller)? I tried right-clicking so I could select "Create automation clip", but nothing happens when I right-click.
