This 'White light' is the White cloud showing through the thin area's of the small black cloud, giving it an optical intensity.

Perhaps a distant balloon reflecting sunlight. Who knows. Maybe it is ball lightning.

I have seen something that looks like this. It was like a ball of light" jumping fast in zig zag pattern on a clear blue sky, whery far up in the sky. It was not a air craft becous there was one in the sky and the didnt look the same . Cant been a satelite becouse of the zig zag patern and the fast jumping. It also stayed at the same area location. Eny one seen something like this?

Very interesting! It looks to me like the cloud is being illuminated from below. My guess would be a reflection of sunlight from a large, shiny surface on the ground (like a greenhouse). It'd have to be awfully focused to be that sharp at that altitude, though, wouldn't it. I think the most interesting part to me is how quickly it winks out. It does appear to come into focus gradually. While illuminated, it looks a lot like the sun or a bright light seen through fog.

In a storm cloud you have strong upward winds. So my guess is that something (a small balloon, piece of paper...) got trapped and oscillated up and down in the balance between upward winds and gravity, in and out of a window within the cloud.

I live in Nashville, Tn and this past week end the whole state was being pounded by non stop rain. I was watching News Channel 4 and and I saw a white ball of light in the storm cloud before they went to a smaller screen to show the radar.

my guess is its a ufo, doesn't look like ball lightening it comes and goes too abruptly and ball lightening doesn't usually do that, its not a weather balloon or satellite those shouldn't be below the clouds. so yeah...

that light maybe came from the satellite that was hit by the sun.. just like a light bounced came from a mirror..

no, satellites move rapidly and don't blink, they just fade away as they cross the sky. Stationary satellites would be closer to the horizon.

Ball Lightning is a glowing sphere that arises during thunderstorms. Your video depicts just such a light.

im not sure... ball lightnings are usually pretty small and this light thingy is pretty high up... a ball lightning in these heights would be more or less invisible in daylight

furthermore ball lightnings only have a lifespan of some seconds...

I am a digital artist and I know what can be faked with software available today. But I can guarantee that the video you see here has not been edited in any way.

My friend is an Ecologist and was working in the field at the time and started recording the light as soon as he noticed it. He felt that it could be a form of lightning that may not have been seen before.

We both actually want these videos to be analyzed by a professional. So that we can figure out what it is.

The small white globe that came out of the cloud is a probe, looking around. If you look closely, in all of these videos, you can see that there is a much larger object silhouetted in the clouds. I've seen a UFO playing musical clouds in Tucson Arizona in September, this year. When the UFO finally came out of the first cloud, it was huge, 1-1.5 miles in diameter. It gave the appearence of being a living creature, nothing mechanical. It was a round disk that could fade into invisiblility.
