This is the safest car ever made. a few nights ago mine flipped 8 1/2 times, traveled 145 ft on its roof, and crashed into a telephone pole upside down with 4 people in the car... we all walked away from the crash without even a scratch. this car literally saved my life and my friends lives and the second my insurance gets back to me i will be buying another one.

its not an automatic its a Direct Shift Gearbox, one of the best ever made and this is the way the future is going. Don't get me wrong my 06 GTI is a 6s/manual but i am about to upgrade to the 2011 GTI and i have driven both the DSG and Manual and I have to admit the DSG is a fantastic piece of engineering which gives you the best of both worlds: 1. COMPLETE control over your gear selection and timing, and 2. the relaxing effortless control of an "automatic" only better and faster.
