@chefrobsen You mean quarter circles? lots of characters use them. grapplers use full circles, chargers use charge moves, but every character who use quater circles is not a shoto.
Shoto gernerally refers to Ken Ryu Akuma and deviations from the standerd formula. Like Sean and Sakura can be called shoto deviations possibly.
@Mienaikage It's a kara meaning it takes a move that shifts her on the first frame and cancels that first frame into the special leaving her moved forwards, if you can find a normal that moves backwards then yes you could, but errrr, backdash?
@jamheald I know what a kara is... And Makoto does have a move that lets her kara backwards, the point of my comment was to ask if the video maker had found it yet
her karakarakusa is alot harder since it ends in a back motion.
This can be done QCF+lk~hp(~lk if you want to quick cancel)

@mikolyyyy normal feint moves do not move her. its only if you have opponent block a move then feint.
keep in mind that this was when the game first came out. but this this day, this is how i walk in lol cause her walk is slow
