shades of death road goes throught jenny jump state park which has a forest fire service location on it and there is a legend that the rflectors on the guard rail are where someone died and the street sign is a concrete pillar in the ground so you cant steal it
if you drove by really fast you'll miss it, they replaced the regular green sign with a big green post in the ground and says "shades of death road" because people were stealing the sign. Consequently it blends into the trees really well. but yeah theres definitely a real road, whether the stories are true or not, im still a skeptic
i have been on this road and every lil road off of it that its boring ben to ghost lake and what not during the day during the night you want a scary road there is a dirt road in sussex county that is about 5 miles in no where with abondand houses

what you are talking about is the polaroid trail...somebody dumped a bunch of old pictures along shades of death road...the polariod trail has been gone for years...in all honesty st least two people have died out there... but by accident...
