A lot of the tutorials say to do it with damp hair.. I've found it works a million times better with dry or almost dry. give it a try! :)

If your hair was wet, it probably did not turn out the way you wanted because it could not dry enough. Damp hair works very well for this. Also; if you want the process hurried up and do not want to have to sleep to have it work, you could use a blow dryer on it..? Pretty hair. : )

i do this to my hair all the time. i was doing the "sock bun" for years and found someone else put it on here. i was pissed. i do mine differantly and my way is easier. also your hair has to be damp. you can let it dry all the way and then just spritz it a little with water. just play with it till you find what works best for you. also foam/sponge rollers are great too.

You just have to make sure your hair is not WET, but just damp, and you will have more of a curl than a wave. This works like magic! It is the greatest tip for curling I've ever seen. You just need to make sure it's not too wet and you'll have curlier results.
