While I commend Willie why is there no outrage for the Dutch cartoonists locked up for publishing a cartoon mocking the Holocaust? Why is it illegal in Europe to show this cartoon but not the Muhammed cartoons?

Every person is responsible for thier "own" actions, even in Islam. Killing of innocents is condemned, and it is explicitly said in the Qur'an that killing 1 innocent is the same as killing all of humanity.

This has nothing to do with religion and it's sad how people keep twisting these types of events into religion when it has absolutely nothing to do with it.

As for the Hadiths no they are not part of the Qur'an and I never said they were, however a great many are made siting the Qur'an as a point of justification. Don't put words into my mouth.

Nowhere is it ever said in the Qur'an that someone is an infidel, let alone for a drawing.

You're right, the artist has his freedom to draw it but with freedom, comes responsibility and he knew exactly what he was doing when he did it. Some people argue, some people yell and some people goto other measures.

Why should an artist be responsible to any faith? This shows the measure of arrogance that the religious have about their own religion. When we are arrogant and sure we are correct in our "god" and when we know we are correct we can justify our actions...and this leads to evil...You're acting like a hypocrite and you don't even see it and that is evil too.

This is why religion is evil because it causes people to become absolute and you can not debate them. That is the mental illness.
