  • No they are not. Shame. If if may...very Sid Barret. If u r a hater or dont believe me, search vids for "Piper at the Gates of Dawn"

  • These guys are still around? Awesome!

  • Favorite part is at 5:40 where Todd Menton holds up the horns.

  • Mi speling iss pour.

  • And that fiddle player (is his name Dave?) damn good. This is a grea line up. What an excellent lead guitar. They've got the king of Minnesota drummers, a good drummer in Minnesota is not an easy find and Boiled In Lead have the best (but did he leave?) Drew Miller KFAI icon, and Todd is so damn cool and great song writter. I think I like this band, maybe.

  • Notice how this crowd is a little timmid(spelling), but they can't stop moving. This band makes crowds move. A couple shots of whiskey and Boiled In Lead playing live will get thae most jaded dance haters doing some sort of weird drunken punk-polka jigg.

  • where's madman blues?

  • Fan of Lead demands video retrospective DVD...

Free the Film! Release the DVD! Allfootage!

    O ye!

  • Oh the memories... one of the best from Mpls' live music scene! In the late '80s I'd catch BIL at the 400 Bar on the West Bank of the UofM.

  • Boiled in Lead at 1st Avenue, This is where we get to see them in their fully electric fury and fully tempered. Certainly the best band ever to come out of Minneapolis. If Folk, or Celtic music floats your boat, take the time to ride the sometimes delicate, frequently visceral sounds this tremendously talented group is capable of live.
