  • my boyfriend and i were watching paranormal activity and there was a mother and daughter that actually lived in the house and the mother still does till this day. the horrific stories you hear its so sad and i hope that those poor children make their way to the light

  • I saw the show on this place for paranormal witness, It was really freaky and I felt really bad for the poor little girl. it was pretty cool to watch though too

  • Seeing this makes me feel sad for all the children who were there and suffered. Back then, people did not know any better and there was not the medical technology we have today. Many parents just "discarded" their children and sent them away to these homes. My heart breaks for these children; they did not deserve to live like that.

  • I know the lady who lives in one of the building, shes been their for over 5 years now, and has seen and heard many things, but she still wont leave the house nor move out.

  • Look up the Mansfield mansion hauntings that scared the shit outa me

  • I remember in high school some of my friends and I where going to sneak in there one night...we never made it out of the car!! That place is so creepy!!

  • It is watched more then you know...

  • there's not really that much of a presence by the 5-0. they might stop by every once in a while but that's it

  • If you'd like another take on the Mansfield Training School, see my video "Nonentities."

  • My mother and stepfather used to work in those same building in the late 70 until it was closed in 1993. My mother was a staff member and my stepfather was a superviser at those building. But unforunatly some of the people my mother used to work with have passed on and some beleave it may have been from lead that was used to build those same building. I just wonder ?

  • I worked at MTS for 5 years from 1985-1990. There was a lot of good and bad there. It's sad to see it all in ruins now even though it wasn't in the best of shape then. I've been in just about all of the building there and was assigned to 3 different units while it was downsizing.

  • My mom used to work their, it's just a training school for the DMR, not a hospital.

  • This is the Knight Hospital which is Part of the training school.

  • first my sister worked there,in the hospital, sec.if you zoom in at 20sec. and again at 2.53 you would see that at the top of the building it self, it says "the knight hospital" and it was more than a training school, they lived there in the other buildings,if they werent housed in the hospital.

  • @ashleyannne . Check out the wiki page about the place. It was a home for "imbeciles" until 1993 when it was closed down because of serious long term claims of abuse.

  • I have worked at uconn for 30 years and lived only a mile from the mts campus. I worked in the fire dept and ran an ambulance from the KNIGHT HOSPITAL Which is featured here. Ive heard and have felt many different things while entering this bldg. I am still working in close proximity of this bldg and am a firm believer this place has many storys to tell.

  • i went to uconn from 1996-2000 and had to work in this building, sometimes completely alone. pretty spooky, heard lots of stuff that could not be explained. another time, my coworker and i to venture through the morgue and medical areas, and a bunch of doors started slamming. we got the hell out of there. another time i was working alone, and at the end of the hall a face appeared in the hallway door window. i blinked and it was gone. again, i finished my work and got the hell out. scary!

  • Yes sir just what I want to hear. Thanks for the Info.We are a small paranormal group out of coventry ct.We have a tread lightly policy so where ever we go we respect and touch nothing.I have been trying to contact the right people to gain permission to Investagate the knight Hospital.Been waiting for a few years to Investagate.I have sent many emails to managment at Uconn only to recieve empty answers.Seeing as you worked there any Idea who to contact to gain permission for entrance. Thanks

  • i was a student worker, so i only did what i was told. the group i worked for had a storage area there and some calibration equipment which we used periodically. we moved our stuff out of there around 1999, and i never went back except to show my sister the front entrance. sorry, not sure who to contact exactly. the theater arts department stored stuff out there, maybe they can help. the place is definitely haunted, you can just feel it when you are in there. good luck.

  • what a neat old building, would love to go thru this place, did u feel or hear anything while u were there? ya dont like the music either, would of rather hear ur voice on ur exploration.

  • Well first off sorry about the music. When we go for a inside look there will be voice over on video.Yes there was a feeling of being watched the whole time we where there. We did catch a Orb after looking at pictures we took hard to see in picture on video.i know another group that chkd place out about 5 years ago and they heard alot of voices on there tapes and caught Orbs in pictures.Alot of activity in the Hospital basement.Waiting for weather to break for our inside look.April we will return.

  • If you want us to take you "seriously" don't add that silly music. Maybe some voice over on your exploration. Sorry didn't see the "orb". Good luck on the next one.
