If you do create one, maybe you can combine Robot Masters from many games into one, or use bosses from other series or maybe create your own. You should also give them original names that were never before in a MM game. I myself am working on a Pokemon Fire Red Text Hack. I would probably release it to the public once it's completed but my hard disk fucked up but my brother is trying to fix the problem.

The flicker is one of the main problems with the Megaman 2 ROM, this is why most people hack the Rockman 2 ROM, it's not your emulator, it's the ROM, it happens on ALL NES emulators

I've done chiptune music for a little while, and although I've only done original stuff and never duplicated a song, you've given me some inspiration to try it. I'll give it a shot. ;D

One thing though, that I must admit: His rendition of the Wily Tower music was actually almost perfect, if you don't count it being in a different key.

It's not the same at all. They could have easily ported the original chiptunes with hardware emulation. Instead, they just sound horrid. Great songs but they weren't done any justice whatsoever.

Accually no you can't just port the chiptunes from one game to the next. You can remix the hell out of whetever hack it is but you're still limited to that games original chiptune.

I know you can't "port" them in a copy-and-paste style but it's possible to remake it completely and a lot more accurately than this. Watch videos of people who are making Megaman 9 music with actual hardware. All it takes is legitimate tracker skill.
