Old science fiction flicks are sooo much fun! My video begins with actual footage of a real U.F.O. My videos are not for the mainstream public! Normal folks "need not apply!" All of you A.B. Normal, strange weirdos will feel right at home here! Only a few individuals have deciphered the real meaning and warning hidden in the subliminal message. The Glirkazoids want you to trust them. They want you to come to accept them! They want to serve mankind!
@2ndself Hi! It called The Time Machine, starring Rod Taylor, based on a book by H.G.Wells. I think Google videos has the full movie at it's site. If not you might try one of the zillions of freebie movie sites around the web. ovguideDOTcom has them all listed.- Cheers - Wayne
Hey Wayne!! I guess I'm a little too young because I don't recall quite a few of these clips. I thought you did a terrific job putting this video together however. 5 stars! I absolutely love "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds"!! Great choice of music! :) Pink Floyd rocks as well. Will there be another sequel?? LOL!!! :) Sorry I've been out of touch. Trying to pack to prepare to move to the new home we're buying soon. Hope you enjoy the holiday season and have a wonderful New Year's Day!! --Kim
Hi, Kim! Another sequel? Hmm maybe, though i'm thinking of doing a horror movie vid next up; i'm in tribute mode at the moment.
I'm VERY happy you've got a new house! The only downside is packing (not my favourite pastime lol) Keep in touch when you can, we're all fairly busy at this time of year anyway. :) Have a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
All smiles here, Saint. Superb tri...err, vid thru the 60's. Your affinity for that period is showing :D Luv'd what you put together here, as always; music included (got it out of your system yet?! ;o
Thx Liz. Yes I have an affinity for the 60s even though I was 13 when it ended. I guess one's formative years leave an indelible impression. Uhm..got what out of my system? LOL. Just warming up. ;)
It is! Some critics trash it as pointless 60s fluff but it's a marvel of inventiveness and a social commentary movie to boot. Who cares about critics anyway? Just failed actors!! LOL
Great job Wayne! I like this 1 even better than the 50s 1 because I can relate to it more. Recognized The Time Machine & Barbarella right away in the 1st half and what better music than Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds as cointerpoint to the acid trip-like visuals. The drive in theatre-style intermission snack bar ad was a nice touch & made me laugh (brought back memories of dusk to dawn drive in events here). 2nd half of COURSE I recognize 1,000,000 Years BC & 2001 Space Odyssey. C Yeti 4 more...
Thx, Celt, I thought you'd like this one. I feel Lucy and Barbarella were the perfect match so had to go with it. Thinking of going horror movie next vid. :)

Holy flashbacks Batman! Brings back lots of memories of watching Science Fiction Theater on TV Saturday nights! :)

Ahh memories. We had Saturday night movie marathons too . Mostly B grade stuff but occasionally they slipped in a classic.

Thx, Tony. It's nice to reminisce and it's even better when it all comes flooding back as though it had never gone away. The 60s is hard to beat.

reminiscing.. it is nice ... and when you think back, it was an era that changed our views on so much we take for granted today ..
