what you're missing is plugins, 2 of them are built in after effects, and last one "particular" is a 3rd party plugin you need to install

I know that person and I'm a fan of his work thou

but this reveal was based on a tutorial I've seen long time ago, my only extra work was making the particle streaks and the sounds and bringing this file to you guys here ^^

@oumoumad Sorry but whats the tutorial uniquefx have used? I told him and he said that he have not followed a tutorial. Sparkle Reveal first came out around Summer 2010 so I would also want to know when is the tutorial made.

@ratedfx I didn't say that uniquefx have followed the same tutorial, it was long time ago, I can't really remember where exactly, but I will link you to it if I found it :)

I can only assure you now that I haven't use uniquefx's template for this, I don't really enjoy changing templates as much as I enjoy experimenting :) you can obviously see that on most of my works ^^

I also understand your perspective on this, cause I can see it the way you do,

@oumoumad First of all hes a good friend of mine and i am talking actually talking with him right now.. But i made a picture of showing the similarities: ht tp : // bit.ly / ubOusE

The path of the particles and location of logo and reflection is exactly the same. As far as I know uniquefx would never put out a template made exactly from a tutorial. But since Sparkle Reveal is a free template nowadays I couldnt care less if someone is sharing a similar project. No hate.

@SuperAkumaa the trapcode version I've used is V2, if you open a project with older version of yours, then no problem

the only problem is when you have the older one

about the format, see what works better for you, personally I suggest you render in a full format not encoded

like quick time > Animation and then you can encode it in some other program like adobe encoder

rendering is a huge topic, everyone does it the way he likes ^^

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. It would be nice if you could help. I downloaded nearly every trapcode plug-in I could find along with other things. I downloaded this from the link you gave me, extracted it, I got the sound to the video but the video doesn't work. I get a blank paper icon with e on it. (internet explorer) I'm using google chrome right now in case you ask. Any tips on how to fix this?

go to streaks layer and you will see in the particle effect scroll down till u find "color over life" and u will see the color gradient there change it as you want

or if u wanna make it only one color change from color over life to at birth
