oh can you not prove you are just saying what you heard from others. his presence on the floor makes him a good defender with his size as he alters shots and holds off other bigs. since Oden started playing blazers went from shit rebounding team to number 1 in the league last year

ARe retarded? Before you make assumption you should know that I watched the Blazers like 20 times this season and live in Portland once. Also the Blazers were the best rebounding differential team, but Oden didn't contribute. He obviously didn't contribute a thing because he averages a foul every 2 minutes of playing time. His defense doesn't do shit.... Didn't Yao go 12/12 against him in the playoffs?

do you remember when yao ming was new to the nba? do you remember how often he used to foul the shit out of people? Oden came off a surgery and 15 months away from basketball. with only 1 year college experience and going against Pros so quickly. Oden knows the game of basketball, he is not just a tall black dude wandering out there. once he gathers the speed of the league he will learn to avoid fouls.

I dont like Yao, but Yao had a much more impressive rookie season than Oden. Also Oden has much less offensive potential. Oden fouls wayyy more than Yao, I think Simmons did an article on it and Oden fouls the most per 48 minutes in the history of the game.
