How exactly are you able to keep your advanced machines at maximum RPM, PSI, etc, without completely draining your power? I don't remember seeing you upgrade the solar flower at this point. Shouldn't your power storage be completely drained by trying to meet the energy needs of running every machine at full capacity?

Dear dire wolf, couldn't the filler be used are sort of a quarry as you said it clears out all blocks above the selected area. you could simply mine down until desired, select an are such as 10X10 and it would then clear all the blocks above it and would be a lot quicker than a quarry.

Just saying, but you accidentally made the solar flower above your sorting machine have room for 19 solar panels. You didn't extend the branch out far enough before build the panels.

Yo. Make some RedPower block breakers and hook them up to an automatic cobblestone generator. You'll have too many diamonds that you won't know what to do with them. When I did this, I was actually filling my Anti-Matter relay with diamonds. Try it.

Hey direwolf20,

In the new room you created you could place a bunch of luminators.

Then make some of them to be always on (just enough to prevent mob spawning), and the others to be activated when someone walks in the room, for extra lighting (a pressure pad connected to a Toggle Latch, connected to the luminators is a good example).

Dire, can you use alternative sources of energy? Like geothermal generators or wind mills? Since you can right click on lava with empty cells now to get lava cells, I'd like you to use geothermal power, or perhaps make a lava cell factory like you did in your previous Let's Play.

I'm doing my auto-sorting machine completely different than normal, and had to test how I wanted to set it up first :). Didn't want to get half way through it and find out one of the machines didn't work like i wanted it to :).

Correct me if I am wrong, tin cable only transmits at 5 EU/t so you are wasting five of those solar panels.

@menotyou899 tin can handle up to 5 eu packets. Each solar panel only puts out a 1 eu packet, allowing all 10 panels to go through.

@menotyou899 Energy is sent in packets; each solar panal produces 1 packet per tick of 1 EU so there are 10 x1 EU packets. So as long as one machine doesn't produce over 5 EU/t tin cables are fine.

Quick tip IDK if its a bug or not but with MineFactory Reloaded if you have it installed you can turn 1 iron ingot into 5 Refined/Steel Iron Ingot which can be used for the machines for IC2

Just requires 4 coal and 1 Iron.

So if you have the Phil stone its a good way to get IC2 machines with just needing to get little iron and farm sugar cane.

Yeah, but lategame, he's gonna be making much more fuel than his engines can handle, and he can use that fuel for other means, or he can use the engines to power up something else like a quarry, which he did end up doing in his server plays. So it's not a complete waste of time and he has realized that by the point he made this build already.
