Misfiring badly, camshaft buckets need adjusting, air filters are useless and it will have bad flat spots. No doubt the carb diaphragms are stretched or holed. Get the basics right, and it could be a nice retro car.
Got to agree with you. My Magnum 2.3 was my pride and joy, but it had more bark than bite. Even with twin carbs and big valve head, i still got eaten by xr3i's- the shame.
you are better off with single carb .those twin carbs are a pig to set up and offer no real gain over single

As far as I know the engine is standard apart from the air filters.

ive had a few magnums CFs and victors with the same engine,great if you can keep them in tune for more than a couple of weeks.
