@cherishbetina So terribly sad to see how hard he works, how he takes risks for practically nothing but yet... he keeps his smile and his head up... always thinking how to provide enough to feed his family with the hope that his two sweet girls make it so they can have a better life than his... Good man!
Umm, so they see the investment of cables and pulleys pay off, yet they refuse to make proper harnesses and buy or make gloves? Short bus time... Great system though, but it was one mans vision.
oh man i could never wrap my son in a wore out looking piece of tarp and hope shit works out. How irresponsible. I understand they want to save time and energy, but come up with something better than that, wow, how insane. Get some type of Straps or something. Dang how dumb.
GREAT Vid! I've never seen something like this before. The vid is a real tribute to rural peasant integrity, courage, hard work, determination, struggle & hope for their children. The 'crash' of coffee prices tho, now THAT'S a real hoot since chain-market prices for US coffee is about $10 a pound -- Thanks to corporate bosses whose gangster practices squeezed producers & rigged the market, so farmers get a small portion of what their crop is worth -- same in so many instances. OCCUPY GLOBAL!
The prime ingredient of Cocaine is the same prime ingredient of Coca-Cola secret's ingredient. Those corporations who control the production of Coca leaves, are the same organized criminals. Or are they fighting for the control of the coca production? I don't think so. The CIA control it and run the continental cocaine drug trade using cuba as jump board and terrorizing Mexico through secret fast and furious black operations

I am so happy I stumbled on this documentary. My family is from Bolivia and I can't wait to show them this as I would love to buy the Cocalero's some safer equipment. I am always amazed of my country's hard working people :)
@deidy123 The cocaleros are the reason that all these forests are being destroyed. I live in Bolivia, and I see the damage and pollution being done by coca farming. Drive through any part of the jungle, and you'll see bags of "pasta de coca".....the preliminary product that is sent to cocaine labs. The process for making this involves sufuric acid, acetone, and ammonia....which is then drained into the rivers. There are hardly any cocaleros who grow the coca leaf for medicinal use anymore.

your definately right one that one! this guy should win father of the year. i think if us americans had more parents like this our generation wouldnt be so fucked up and uncaring. half of america is on anti depression pills and has anxiety. i wish i could donate some pullys to them or something
@Flugabwehrkanone Well it's not like they got the same sound from that movie. They didn't edit the video to get the same exact sound... My point is any one can replicate the sound because it's normal.
Great video. Bolivia looks like a beautiful country. I always pictured Bolivia to be one big desert, but to my suprise there's jungle there too. Looks like that country would be worth visiting someday.
An awesome video. I understand the coca culture of the Andes in a way I never understood before. It is an absurd policy of the US to spend billions to spray herbicides on the coca plants of other farmers such as these in Colombia, Equador, Peru etc. It is clear why farmers such as these become antagonistic to the US.
it touch my soul alot :(...my tears almost drop off :(....i hope they will be fine ...
