@ericpcronic What overhead monitor did you use and how tough was the install of it, i.e. was there a harness already there to plug into or did you have to run the A/V and other wiring?
@murpharm We went with the Visualogic 10.4". You have to run wires, power, groung, etc. as with any aftermarket DVD system. The headliner in the new Durango is held in with magnets, so that made it a lot easier.
@pittbaseball21 Chrysler makes two seperate Media Center 430 radios. The one you must have has the touch screen, internal hard drive, but no Nav. The 430N adds Garmin based nav. You can not, unfortunately, upgrade the 430 to the 430N.
I have a 2011 Crew. I noticed the radio in your video does not have a NAV button, yet has navigation. LockPick doesn't add a navigation feature does it?
@pittbaseball21 This vehicle has the Media Center 430N which is a software based navigation system. It has Garmin nav, and there is a button on the screen.
@guzziguyvids The LockPick device has an A/V output. It also has a video out that is designed to work with headrest monitors. I think the factory DVD already works off the factory head unit. We chose to go with an aftermarket DVD player because of it's larger than factory size.
i have a blk citadel and yes it is truely the nicest car i have ever been in but there is a guy at work that has a red crew and he put 22's on it and they look tiny, do you have any pics of any with 24's, plus how much is the lockpick thing
How do you install the lockpick? I just got the 2011 Citadel 2 weeks ago and hate that I cant watch the screen from the front seat and no navigation unless im in park.
@angeladturner The factory radio comes out, and the Lockpick plugs into the two factory plugs behind the radio. There is just enough room to tuck the Lockpick behind the dash support and re-install the radio. Pretty simple, and can be done in under 20 minutes by someone that knows what they are doing.
Love the work uve done to it, I just purchased a Black 2011 Crew AWD and have put 2 magnaflow muflers and a K&N Air Filter on it. I have orderd a lock pick kit, how did you remove the dash and radio to hook it up?
I just bought the same car. I would like to know where to buy the lock pick system. does it work with the stock DVD player? and is it very difficult to install? thanks a bunch. good job.
Hey, great Durango. Looking to purchase a Silver '11 R/T Model. What are the wheel specifications for this truck..? I can't find them anywhere. Bolt Pattern, Offset, etc. Thanks alot.
Hi, one question: the MYGIG radio is RHB with NAV (garmin) integrated, could you check the maps and let me know if MEXICO is available? (just move the country down at full size ) I do travel to Mex and would like to have Mygig with those maps. thx!
The lowering kit is not available yet. It was on the Citadel Black & Tan at the SEMA show. We expect to have a kit within the next month. The wheels are 22x9.5. Offset is 35.
Hey Nice Truck... I just bought the same one about a week ago... I really like how you removed the "durango"... what the best way to get this off without messing up the paint... Thanks Brian
@ericpcronic ok... but just wanted to make sure there wasn't any holes... some badges have holes under them... thanks BTW rims look great I agree 24"s would be a overkill
@Wright713 well anyway the rims are sick but if i had that car i wouldve got 24's but its ur choice man have funn on the build and dont stop the project keep it going

Did you start with a factory installed DVD, or is it easy to get a after market DVD to interface with the radio?

Hey whats the tire size plz. thanks

This is one of the best "suvs" out on the market and having the Hemi in this, makes it hands down the best engine in any suv class.

Wheel bolt pattern is 5-127 mm which is 5 on 5, not 5 on 4.5. (FYI) What exact tire size did you use?

@toddnky79 There are two screws in the pocket below the radio. Then the panel pops out with some convincing.

Happen to remember/know the tint percentages?
xbrrrian 9 months ago
@xbrrrian I'm pretty sure we went with 35% on the front windows, as well as over the stock tint on all the rear windows. The windshield is 50%.

@Wright713 I could have gone with 24"s but thought that would be overkill. Keep in mind there is a 1.5" lowering kit still on the way.
