@Frankielandia None of the Arctic Monkeys' album are even in the same category as Is This It though, these guys are good, but I have never heard an entire LP that just drags me in and drowns me with gallons of awesomeness for the past decade.

Is This It did that, The Strokes, granted aren't that great of a band, they're not too consistent. I still love them, but they aren't brilliant as everyone said, it's just that with Is This It they found the perfect recipe for a great fucking rock album.

He wrote all the music and lyrics on the first three albums and on Angles the whole band did an fabulous job contributing to the album. Not that you would know that you think you know it all dumbass. Alex is barely past being a teenager here! His voice wasn't even fully developed then and is much better rounded now. He had voice cracks and a higher pitch, well, since he was still a kid. Give the monkeys a break; they love the strokes and made a great tribute to one of their favorite bands and influences.

I agree I'm happy to see this but I'm disappointed. I expected it to be more akin to the Strokes. His range isn't as malleable as Jullian's is. Also Julian has a degree of control over his screamy high pitched voice. I think that part of Julain's voice is what really made this song what it is. So this brings me to my final point..
