I have a 95' 318i automatic with 156k and it still runs and drives wonderfully, the handling is nothing less the perfect, and even with this much miles, when its at idle, you cant even it hear it on, its amazingly quiet and shockingly fun to drive.

BMW is creating a 4cyl turbo for the next Gen. 3 series. It will have as much HP and torque as a 6cyl except with better fuel economy and quicker off the line performance. They should have never let the 4cyl go

No they aren't standard. I got the headlights, which are actual glass over plastic lenes and the halo's already installed at w w w depoautolights . c o m

yo dude my 318i sedan is the BOMB its one of those 1992 silver model...just bought 18" shoes for her yesterday...HELL MAFIA CAR...dark tints...good car to cruise in!

@avenged7fold90 what out for pre 1995 models, they had head gasket issues. The fix was made in the 1995 model. 1995 and newer 318's engines have been pretty much bullet proof. I've got 155k on her now and runs better then most american cars a quarter her age. I just blew the doors off a Dodge Avenger R/T the other day. The guy who owns the R/T is a co-worker and just couldn't believe what he witnessed. LoL He's got over 60 more horepower and I walked away and stayed away. I LOVE IT !!!

Ahh, I just got the car, I love it, but I'm totally kicking myself for not getting the 5-speed. The 4 gears in the automatic just don't do it justice.

Used to have a '92 318is, got it up to 115 on many occasions, and that was with about 196,000 miles on the car. Now I have a '94 325is that I have taken up to 120 many times, and even up to 125 once. On every run the cars drove so nicely...

Yo man, I got a honda civic right now, and I'm tired of owning an auto, I want a 5-speed. I found this 95 3 series, looks great, 150k miles highway driven, $4,200. just kinda concerned if that would be a bad move selling my honda for an older car with more miles, no problems with my honda and it only has 117k on ti right now.

sweet ride im 16 and bought a 1997 bmw 318i bright red for $1700 it has 203,000 miles on it still running strong as well and no signs of breaking down any time soon has an automatic trans and i have had it at about 135 mph i love it so much their great cars! idk if i will go back to any other car besides a bmw

Get a rev limiter and speed limiter delete, you ll hit 150mph :)

The factory floor woven mats are under the rubber ones. The rubber ones are made by Kraco (aftermarket).

@helgalife101 Why? Standard European versions reach 133 mph.  US versions are hobbled electronically to account for the low-spec tyres desired by consumers.

im trying to convice myself in picking one up, it has a little over 110k on it, in beautiful condition as far as i can see no body damage not interior no rust nothing the engine looks prestine, and the asking is 3200 but if i went to them with 2500 in cash they would take it in a second, would you suggest it? im 21 and the only car i owned was a 2000 blazer which was good till it got repoed...comments?

@ICEMANINVADER same here but the one im getting is a project car but if you wanna make sure its not gonna break down make sure there isnt any white smoke coming out when it runs or its in park and on,second make sure the guy has gotten the timing belt replace if not make sure to get that done as soon as possible cause it may cost you more then the car :) hope you get it
