Thanks all for the comments. Our project was to identify a problem in society and propose a solution. We chose to do so in a humorous way, although it's clear that many don't share my sense of humor. The statistics should have been cited, but we did our best to use credible sources. To the teen mothers that were offended, the video does not say you will become like the statistics presented, or that the lives of you and your baby are worth less than anyone else's. Therefore, I make no apologies.
One thing I've always wondered is all the statistics about the children of teen parents, like the stats about their academic and personal life, do they mean all children of teen parents including those who were adopted or just those raised by their birth parents?

I finished school, graduated in the top 20% of the class with honors, got all my scholarships, and going into my second year at the university of louisiana at monroe. im doing all that and raising my son. he is smart. hes only two and knows all his colors, his numbers, and can count to ten. not all babies born to teen moms have a crappy life and not all the moms are worthless.

I am assuming this film is a comedy ... that or these "film makers" have never have known someone who really was a teen mother. While some things were "true" for certain teen mothers/pregnancies - not all.

uhm you dont have to drop out of school to take care of a baby, day care is free when you are a teenager and taking care of a baby. Social services takes care of everything.

Well in Wadesboro, NC they provide free day care for single parents (only) and they put you on a program called work first, where in that time you find a job they will provide you with free gas and sometimes if you get half the money a new car. Also yes its true me and my bf went to work first and they payed for all of his gas.

Young/Teen parents take it from someone who has gone through it... Most of these pregnancies are by accident, but never get rid of your baby because once you hold him/her in your arms you have a whole new feeling! Yes, I wouldn't advice it to young girls because it is hard but it is for most mom of all ages! But stay strong!

I am assuming this film is a comedy ... that or these "film makers" have never have known someone who really was a teen mother. While some things were "true" for certain teen mothers/pregnancies - not all.

uhm you dont have to drop out of school to take care of a baby, day care is free when you are a teenager and taking care of a baby. Social services takes care of everything.

Soooo not true about social services.........but you dont have ti drop out of school. I was pregnant my entire 12th grade year and I graduated on time, and Im almost finished with my 2 degrees

Well in Wadesboro, NC they provide free day care for single parents (only) and they put you on a program called work first, where in that time you find a job they will provide you with free gas and sometimes if you get half the money a new car. Also yes its true me and my bf went to work first and they payed for all of his gas.

@nnbengboy2 its true, its qunna be hard for me to have my child n im 17 n 5 mon, but i also got my mom, boyfriend, dad, mominlaw n fatherinlaw. so i got all da support. but its more my responsibility n the baby dad. but i have 2 nephews n i see what my sister goes through but i got to get ready doin wat i got to do for my child n fam. n it is hard for teens but in reality its hard in any age cuz ur dealin with a baby u understand but i keep my head up high, im already loving the baby! cant wait!

I'm 18 and pregnant, my boyfriend (the babies father) is still with me I'm 24 weeks and we're both going to be dedicated parents, people talk silly when they go on saying "teen pregnancies always end in disaster" no they don't, some do but thats only the people who don't care about their child and are living of their parents. But some aren't some are great parents, we've got a home we're both high school graduates and are in college! Stay strong young parents!

@reiAYANAMI1992 Yeah, I meant like young parents. But anyway, thank you for your kind words! I've had the baby now, she is called Bella and me and the father are doing fine! Young/Teen parents take it from someone who has gone through it... Most of these pregnancies are by accident, but never get rid of your baby because once you hold him/her in your arms you have a whole new feeling! Yes, I wouldn't advice it to young girls because it is hard but it is for most mom of all ages! But stay strong!

My mothers a nurse and she says that you satisitics about premature labor is a bunch of buttshit. and i have 6 firends who HAVE kids none born premature none born with anything wrong with them and 4 friends who are preg. [no i dont have a kid am not preg] i live in a county with the 3rd highest rate for teen preg. if you were supposed to teach a lesson..lesson faied.
