this has pissed me right off, i love the Alice series and the book wrecked it. Alice doesnt sing in the book, its an important part of the story the fact she cant sing because she comes from a musically talented family. jeeeeez

I'm 13 && I started reading these books in the 4th or 5th grade && I fell in LOVE with them. On "library day" I would get as much Alice books as they'd let me. && I'd start reading them on the bus && would be half way finished by the time I got off. But I don't think the movie is going to be all that good. && what about Elizabeth && Pamela? IDK but I guess I just had like; a "vision" of what I though the first Alice movie would be like if they made one && my "vision" was NOT like this. =/

It's going to suck if they don't pay any attention to the book at all. In the books it's pointed out a lot that she can't sing; I wonder what the plot is that they have to have her singing.

in various interviews alyson says at the beginning, alice was a terrible singer in the movie so maybe they spice up the plot so people who read the book can't predict the end
