  • Very nice demo. Thanx, man!

  • the best demo

  • great job. best demos on planet earth..

  • On the first demo, was the RV-7 in an effects loop?

  • great demo

wanna have this cool pedal but the price is so high here in Thailand

  • GREAT DEMO DUDE

  • This pedal is amazing, I've had one for a couple of years now, it's just got some of the best reverb sounds in here. The reverse is just the best reverse there is. Lexicon knew what they were doing haha.

  • Do these Hardwaire suck tone ?

  • great demo and playing as always, maybe you can help me out I am torn between this reverb and the tonebug reverb since you have played both which one do you think is better case they are both the same price.

  • @hungbiao83 I like the Neunaber WET. Thanks for the kind words!

  • @hungbiao83 Hey I'm having the same struggle, which one did you end up getting?

  • electro harmonix cathedral FTW!!

  • This demo is just sonic bliss...

  • 3:17 killer lick!

  • I just bought one of these but I was wondering if it can be used to get the Edge "shimmer" sound like the Strymon Blue Sky Reverberator can and if so,what other effects, aside from a delay, would be needed?

  • thanks for the review!

    one question though

-> how much blend does it get?

  • Man killer blues tone, when you kicked on that overdrive.....you are a great player.

  • any volume drop in these?

  • @shckltnebay None that I've noticed, but I don't use it too much. I usually use the WET pedal because it's a one-stop shop.

  • Thank you for the great video. I'm testing a Plush (Fuchs) Good Verbrations. It sounds way superior to the Boss RV-5, RV-3, Boost RVB (I tried them all out yesterday). Unfortunately, the Plush is not stereo.. If the Hardwire RV-7 is at par with the Plush, I will take the RV-7 (it sounds great on your video, and the Plush is also digital). I'm using reverbs for post-rock/ambient stuff.

  • how do you think this compares to the line 6 verbzilla? I am not sure which one out of these two is better. I heard the line 6 can be noisy, but offers longer decay settings.

  • Hi, would you prefer this RV7 or the Tech 21 RVB ? I need a reverb pedal for my synthesizer actually. Thanks!

  • and also which one of those able to have more extreme decay than other?

  • Would you say the Spring setting comes close to modeling the actual Fender '63 reverb tank?

  • @spawnofwheezedog I'm sorry to say I've never tried the Fender '63 so I can't comment. :(

  • @Burgerman666 Well, I got it for my birthday anyway and found the answer! This thing has "boing" for days on the spring setting, sounds just like the old Fender!

  • very good demo, and superb sound quality!

    thanks a lot !!!!!!!

  • if you turn the level to zero is there a hint of reverb or is it completely dry?

  • perfect review, great job! thannx for all the awesome reviews, they help a lot!...gonna get this one immediately.

  • @dinosaurhighfive My pleasure. Glad to help. Enjoy!

  • perfect review...great job. gonna get this one immediately.

  • got one on order - good demo - some nice licks there burgerman

  • sounds like eric johnson is playing

  • good review. thanks.

  • ....and nice review !!!!

  • thanks ;) !

  • listen to minute 1:33 to 1:35 pls tell me which chords are these ?

  • Sounds like an Fmaj7 to G (F shape) to me.

  • Your demos are some of the best on youtube along with PGS and gearmandude!

  • @menamestom You can't mention PGS and beercandud in the same sentence. That's just blasphemy! Andy is in a league of his own.

  • Wondering how can the tails function work with true-bypass? Must be kidding!!

  • A buffer is switched in with the tails function. That's how I use it. Sounds heaps better. All the sparkle is put back. RV-7, last pedal in the chain, buffer and tails on - all good.

  • Thank you. From the video, I think this sounds better than the Tonebug. How would you compare them?

  • The Tonebug is nice but it's no match for this. This has far more 'dimension', or 'in your face'. It also has two modes and two very effective tone controls. You'd need to compare it to the Gristle King - then there would be a competition.

  • What about the Boss Reverb pedal? I have the Hardwire reverb.

  • True-bypass isn't always good. Buffers aren't always bad. But used in the right way. When everything is true-bypass you get tone suck, when everything is buffers you get tone-suck + latency. That is if you have a large pedalboard.

  • Sweet sound!

  • Demos like these are why I'm finding myself drawn to a nice clean tone more and more every day. I still love a nice power chord distortion track but stuff like this is very pleasant and easy on the ears. Would love to hear some more surf licks w/the spring setting.

  • Surf licks, yes. I like them too. Next time. Thanks for watching!

  • I'm really digging these!

    Thanks!

    Great playing as always!

  • Thank you! We aim to please. :)
