Thats a farm rabbit, not a snowshoe. It's one of the commercial breeds meant for meat production. Do you see any snow in that video? Maybe back behind the citrus trees?
And, just to let everyone know who reads your post, you are wrong and likely deliberately trying to spread false information.
From the University of Michigan study on Lepus americanus: Snowshoes hares are common throughout their range. Their rapid reproduction makes it unlikely that they will become a major concern for conservationists. (Kurta, 1995; Wilson and Ruff, 1999)
Like most hares (and rabbits), snowshoe hares are prolific breeders. Females have two or three litters each year, which include from one to eight young per litter. Young hares, called leverets, require little care from their mothers and can survive on their own in a month or less. Snowshoe hare populations fluctuate cyclically about once a decade—possibly because of disease. These waning and waxing numbers greatly impact the animals that count on hares for food, particularly the lynx.

Hello 79 Headcase, You learnt how to hang a rabbit up by one leg.
Look at part 2 and they will show you some string, and Part 3 is how to tie a knot, sort of.
LOL Bill

Not in wisconsin. It's the only animal that can be hunted year round and in unlimited numbers. Cause there is so many of them.
