On the other hand, it's a relief to finally see how this episode ended, even if it was a dud. When this aired originally I only ever saw the first half and it's been bothering me since.

DuracellEnergizer apparently he never died but was born "undead". One of the Tales from the Crypt episodes was about the origins of Cryptie. Apparently he is the result of a sideshow freak and an ancient mummy getting it on. So I guess its literal when he refers to his mommy as "mummy" in the cartoons.

@niquasmith Actually on the 14th episode of season 2, the episode is called Lower Berth, it is the story about how his mother and father met. It is a really good episode and at the end you get to see a baby Cryptkeeper! =D
