  • I miss this ♥♥

  • lmao 4:00 "did you have a nice snooze" jajajajjaja

  • "Oh what next!"

    BOOM

    "I had asked"

  • Mind actually

  • Is mr perty out of his minf ? Does he think a stick can defeat a stone man ?

  • That's Tara Strong who voices the girl...

  • By the way, "Charendoff" is her maiden name. She's now "Tara Strong" after marrying.

  • "What next!?" *Rain begins to fall* "I had to ask..."

  • And finally, I realize where my good values come from! :D

  • INCEPTION!

  • fucking mister perdy

  • This is a lot more educational then the cartoons we have nowadays. This at least thought me some morals and values to a certain extent.

  • @vydai yeah the don't have show like this anymore ! XD

  • "YAAAAAAAAA!!!"

  • Darryl Craigman is a regular Freddy Krueger but Mr. Perdy deserved it. He's just lucky Darryl didn't try to kill him.

4:49 - 4:53 *cue Nightmare On Elm Street theme music*

  • IT'S ALIVE

  • As entertaining as this is, I will always prefer the original acted series.

  • Ah yes, that brings back memories. Only difference is that I used to listen to it in french. =)

    Thanks for the upload.

  • LOL

I finally woke up and smelled the coffin

  • This episode itself is a good chunk of my past. <:3

  • Ahhh, old cartoons.

  • a lil boy i'll never guess thought were the girl

  • haha, ''darrel craigman!!'', almost seemed ike the writers had no idea where they were going with this story. but it was still amazing

  • Srsly? that's it? A teacher and a student were mean to Darryl so he dreamed them into various nightmares? . . . and why does Mr. Purdy act more like a child than Jenny?

On the other hand, it's a relief to finally see how this episode ended, even if it was a dud. When this aired originally I only ever saw the first half and it's been bothering me since.

  • @PompeyV you have to admiti, a lot of ppl would love to be that boy...and if you look closely, you noticed that probably the creator of this ep based it on elm street...the boy revenges by using his dreams, the same way freddy krueger does

  • this brings me back ... to my early childhood

  • and i agree with the both of you guys

  • That girl's scream was so annoying "YAHHHHHHH" and the guy screams like a girl.. LOL awesome show, brings back memories.

  • this was based on a true story

  • i'd like to hear that.

  • thanks very much, i've been looking for these episodes long time ago, but in latin - spanish .. anyway, thanks for uploading. This one is also one of my favorites.

  • i remember this one so much!!!!!

the buy with no face always scared me..

  • Aren't these supposed to have gory endings

  • The live action ones do for the most part.

  • I love this cartoon :)) !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This sh*t is twisted-i love it! Thanks for posting:)

  • They study Latin? I didn't know there are classical gymnasiums in the US, that's cool.

I remember this ep very well, it was one of my favourites, along with that one with THE GIANT MUTATED LEECH (tm), I don't remember it's title unfortunately. I myself had some great share of impressive nightmares, the last one this summer after watching the Devil May Cry series overview XDDD

  • I wonder how the Cryptkeeper died.

  • DuracellEnergizer apparently he never died but was born "undead". One of the Tales from the Crypt episodes was about the origins of Cryptie. Apparently he is the result of a sideshow freak and an ancient mummy getting it on. So I guess its literal when he refers to his mommy as "mummy" in the cartoons.

  • Nasty conception LOL

  • @DuracellEnergizer I know this reply is a little late (By 2 Years) XD but just wanted to say that the Cryptkeeper never died. His mother was an Egyptian Mummy and his father had two faces and was a exibit in a circus Freak show. He was born looking that way. Again a little late info XD

  • @nightstardust

...that's so cool!!...but how do you know this stuff?!...did you find it in a book or off the internet?!...

  • @niquasmith Actually on the 14th episode of season 2, the episode is called Lower Berth, it is the story about how his mother and father met. It is a really good episode and at the end you get to see a baby Cryptkeeper! =D

  • This show was one of my favorites , infact if they had it on again i'd be watching it till midnight!

  • i would love to get my hands on Jenny

  • what the fuck shes not even real freak!

  • Gross..

  • A golem? Haha, wheres his jew master?

  • very good insight knowledge of t he ancient text, golem on the third day goes on its own and deadly

  • that's my name!!

  • my god i used to watch this and betelguise every afternoon after school . . . cartonns were far better when i was a kid

  • beatlejuice?

yeh 90's tv was farr better. like are you afraid of the dark, goosebumps, this, saved by the bell, doug, the queens nose, earth worm jim, rockos modern life, angry beavers. like everything. kids shows now suck ass, NICKELODEON put back 90s shows!! i beg you!!

  • heck yeah...you are damn right!

  • @aclockworkkelly I'm with you, man! Beetlejuice is still like my favorite cartoon.

Parents should have saw it coming when I used to like to walk in graveyards for fun as a kid. xD

  • its go be mr.perdy

  • Wait, a Golem? That's kind of odd to find one. Also, was the blob in this episode a reference to the slick from Creepshow (rather than the Blob I mean)?

  • good eye

  • I still feel that Mr. Perdy's nightmares are far from over.

  • VERY far from over..........

  • I admit that Perdy's a jerk, but the girl didn't really deserve all of that in my opinion.

  • Yeah that's true.

  • A person who enjoys seeing that kid suffer because of the teacher? I think she deserved it

  • This is like a Nightmare On Elm Street for them.

  • Wow that brough back memories of my less morbid younger self. I love this cartoon. Way better than the crap that passes for kids horror now. Mona the Vampire, what rubbish.

  • Hi, I also love the older cartoons. A lot better then those new shows, like Martin Mystery. Thanks for watching.

  • @mendelboaz

    Hey now!

Martin Mystery is good stuff. So is the comic its based on.

And I grew up on TftC too.

    Have an open mind.

  • @mendelboaz Is that the one with the caveman jumba ...or somethin ? XD

  • @AmberNightwolf And Monster High. Ha! Some monsters! Just a bunch of Bratz dolls caught up in the Twilight/"Paranormal" phase we live in today. I miss the classics.

  • Hey, its the Golem of Prague

  • where is prague?
