It's so hard for me to watch these videos... At least they're back together again... I was so curious about how Kim and Ben looking these days... ROCK ON!
what a great fcking song.. just found it while going through Superunknown.. i love the eastern influence: the odd time signature, the vocals on the studio version, the guitar tone. you don't see bands got out on a limb and play something different like this anymore. SG were a kickass rock band and still true musicians at the same time
I`ve always wondered whether Matt new just how great he was. I mean, did he go like: "Man, i`m playing some absolutely fucking crazy drums on this album [Superunknown]. I`m like a fucking legend..." [wink]-[wink]
I am pretty sure Chris is smiling a lot here in the first 2 minutes, i think its because he knows they are about to blow the audience away with the last 2 minutes! yeah!!!
Damn, I kinda wish Ben was doing his ridiculously high-pitched vocals. Anyone know if he used a vocoder or something to make himself sound like an Indian Bollywood actress?
What kills me about the human race. I just checked out one of Britney Spears live, uh...efforts; Britney Spears Live- The Blackout Tour (Part.1). That crap was posted barely three months ago and already has 35 thousand hits. Soundgarden was superior in every way and though a few years older, only gets 1,300-1,500 hits for their stuff that's been posted on youTube for just as long.
No accounting for the tastes of the average youTuber.
just cause brittany is in every magazine....if they kept putting soundgarden in magazines and on tv even after they broke up then ppl growing up and ppl that didnt here about em would...brittany just has to treat her kids like crap and get married again and she will make an album thats crap and probably get double the hits....its sux i know
oh yeh and another thing....like if this was the 90's and youtube just came out a few years ago like it did....they they would have more its....its just cause there clips are over a decade old
Some of the best damned rock and roll ever. No one at this show realized that hard rock was nearing the end or they would've listened more and surfed less.
No rock worthy of the name since 1994-95.
Maybe some future generation will bring it back from the dead, but so far they're too busy crying on YouTube about missing the boat. They need to quit crying and make some rock of their own.
i was fortunate enough to see them on this tour in '94...Rev Horton Heat was the opener...killer f'ing show...only prob was it was in orlando, and Ben seemed pissed as hell at some fools in the crowd...i went over the barrier crowdsurfing looked up and Chris seemed to be laughing at me! lol
Can they PLEASE make a studio version of this? like right now.
Bobbybooshay08 1 month ago
@Bobbybooshay08 Well ya know, before the live version, they created a studio version.
Hahahaha

Cameron, Thayil, and shepard are the most underated usicians of the 90s. Cameron's drumwork is insane.

solo soundgarden podría improvisar un riff así en esa canción, 4 exelentes músicos trabajando por un sonido tan nuevo pero tan específico de ellos
