Russia is the only country to send space tourists to space (costs 35million dollars). In a few years, they will offer a flight around the moon. That will cost about 100 million dollars. Russian astronauts have the best food and they enjoy great meals in space. Russian space toilets are designed to match exactly the astronauts butt. Costs about 40million a piece. And the MIR space station lasted more than anyone could ever imagine. What have other countries to counter? NOTHING.

First of all, US is aborting all its shuttle programms and redesigning its NASA structure. That will take about 6 years and in that period it will depend 100 percent on the Russian space center. Russia currently controls about 45 percent of all space flights and in 2 or 3 years will control 55 percent of all space flights. Russian space technology surpasses that of usa and europe many times and is the most dependable and innovative partner. There is nothing better than the Soyuz.
