Your speed is phenomenal, but it's a tune that you can play as a jig or almost an aire, which is probably why I have a real love affair with it.

To je hezké, ale do nějakého vystupování mám ještě nejmíň tak sto let daleko :) S žádnou skupinou nehraju, i když bych strašně ráda - tady v okolí bohužel nevím o nikom, kdo by se o irskou hudbu zajímal nebo ji dokonce hrál, spíš je to většinou tak, že když tady před někým zmíním irskou hudbu, většinou neví, co přesně si pod tím má představit, takže se dočkám názvů jako Lord of the Dance... a to mě dohání k šílenství :) !!

tyjo, tak to jsem vážně netušila, že na tu věc s tím špalkem uvnitř se dá tak krásně hrát. zírám. když jsem to poslouchala prvně, tak mi to přišlo možná až moc rychle. ale tak napotřetí už se mi to moc líbí. fakt dobré. btw, proč to píšu sem - moje píšťalka je taky pěkně rezavá:-) se mi ulevilo, že v tom nejsem sama...
Jsem jich pár měl, a byly poměrně nekonzistentní (nicméně zněly mnohem hůř, než ta, co má Herriett). Někdy trochu pomůže zploštit windway. A nebo si koupit jinou whistle :-)
A ono to myslím je zahraný rychleji. Teorie tvrdí, že reel má být jízda, a jig spíš takový houpavý rytmus.
Slightly on the "rushing" it side and slowed to about 90% or perhaps more than slowed down paced more:)
But it's still worth the ★★★★★ ; the sound has improved, the image has improved, you actually show your face and you gave us all a smile what more could we ask for :)

Ahoj - je to Morrison's jig, řekl bych (a ne reel) - taky se to normálně hraje o dost pomaleji (prostě jako jig :-)).
Ale hraješ dobře, to se musí nechat.
