Hey its the Indianapolis motor steamway! Love the old train burnin it up top like when I was a kid! Just ribbin ya! Awesome layout!! All about the fun heh?
@trainbuff1985 Thanks for the kind comment Doug. My upper loop has a bit of an incline in the back as it gets to the top of the hill there, so when I run conventional trains, I have to give them enough voltage to make that peak, but then the fly down the down grade.. it's a delicate balance of making the hump and not flying off the turns... When I am just running them I can adjust the speed, but when filming, I have to get a happy, safe medium. and yes, it's all about having fun....
@twogiraffe Thanks for the kind comment on my layout. It's a work of love for sure. As far as the speeding loco on the upper level, it's a 1954 Lionel 2055 and I had just serviced it after it had sat in a box for 25+ years.. So, Yep, she was struttin her stuff !!! lol...
Thanks very much bob... Yeah, I do have a knack for using the real eastate I have as best I can.. I like lots of little points of interest to catch the eye as well as running some great trains. Then again, I enjoy others layouts that are deep wide open spaces too.. Like Robs... Thanks again !!!
you wouldn't wanna know what the same camera costs in denmark... we're one of the most expensive countries in the world, when it comes to stuff like that... ;)
I responded to last night bud and Youtube didnt post it, please dont think me rude. no, it was not a Christmas gift, although, I had bought it back in August and had a problem with the auto focus and had to send it back for warrenty work and just git it back 3 days before Christmas.. so it sort of was a present to have it back in time....(youtube better post this time)
WOW!!!! Amazing difference. Its almost like you could reach out and touch it. Love your layout. A lot going on in that world makes it look so realistic. Great view of a very pretty depot.
