After listening to the new album I can say maybe 2 or 3 songs that I like out of the 13. This is one of them. But this has been the case for me personally, liking just a couple of songs on a Megadeth album since Cryptic Writings.
I love the band as much as I love all the other Big 4 bands since they started out but I liked Endgame more than this one. They're lacking something and I don't know what. Anthrax's latest is better to me.
Not trying to start anything here, just my personal opinion.
I find it crazy to compare these 2 bands, james vocals are better than daves on any album thats the main difference in this. metallica plays heavy metal, megadeth plays thrashrock but they still play thrashmetal onstage no matter what their newly release might be. Thats impressive feat on its own.
@pariskotsaros Death Magnetic too. And St Anger. And Reload. And Load. And the black album. AJFA was their last heavy metal album, but I like their new sound a bit better than their old.
If we compare the past 4 albums from Megadeth and the last 4 from Metallica, HANDS DOWN MEGADETH WINS. Dave Mustaine is holding true to himself, while Metallica shows that they are a group of sell outs (my opinion) even though Death Magnetic was good; however, they were trying way too hard to be heavy. With Megadeth, they do not have to try. They just are. Besides 13 and Endgame, you really need to listen to System has Failed (AWESOME)

After listening to the new album I can say maybe 2 or 3 songs that I like out of the 13. This is one of them. But this has been the case for me personally, liking just a couple of songs on a Megadeth album since Cryptic Writings.
I love the band as much as I love all the other Big 4 bands since they started out but I liked Endgame more than this one. They're lacking something and I don't know what. Anthrax's latest is better to me.
Not trying to start anything here, just my personal opinion.

I find it crazy to compare these 2 bands, james vocals are better than daves on any album thats the main difference in this. metallica plays heavy metal, megadeth plays thrashrock but they still play thrashmetal onstage no matter what their newly release might be. Thats impressive feat on its own.

If we compare the past 4 albums from Megadeth and the last 4 from Metallica, HANDS DOWN MEGADETH WINS. Dave Mustaine is holding true to himself, while Metallica shows that they are a group of sell outs (my opinion) even though Death Magnetic was good; however, they were trying way too hard to be heavy. With Megadeth, they do not have to try. They just are. Besides 13 and Endgame, you really need to listen to System has Failed (AWESOME)
