The language as it is spoken today took form in the 10th century A.D. and is a direct descendant of the Ancient Koine which took form as a mixture of the ancient dialects in the 4th century BC. There has never been a break in the language which the written materials from every period prove.

The Greek language comes from the ancient Greek language it became what it is in the 11th Century not in 1976 and only differs from ancient Greek as much as Old English differs from Modern day English now. These people you see in the video are Greeks, Originally Greece spread as far as Persia, Bulgaria and parts of Italy so we come in all shapes and colors.
