GUESS WHAT! sonic youth is planning on releasing a box set of sorts which is going to include a cassette tape of BECK covering the entire EVOL album from start to finish...  can't wait to hear his versions of other songs from that album since this is so amazing.

beck actually covers entire albums all the time. all of them recorded in a day. its just something he does for fun. the boxset is going to be more art-oriented that music as well.

yeah, but it comes with some free stuff. i mainly got it for the free live vinyl of battery park. it comes with a free live stream of the album, but its crappy quality.

modern guilt is muzak for elevators. i find more exciting the noise of the vacuum cleaner. and i'm telling you that i think of "mutations" as one of the greatest album ever released.

i hope this is a starting point. the man is turning the song into sunday sun. that's great. thank god that i'm not a fan with ham in the ears
