M Night Shyamalan makes movies unlike no other in Hollywood. His character development is what makes his movies unique, let alone the fantastic suspense. He brings fear into the lives of normal people in his movies, and that is an achievement in it self. That takes alot of skills. I also love his imagination, his mind and his creativity. I always look forward to his movies.
I think it's a d@m shame people do not appreciate him.
I couldn´t agree more!! Sixth Sense, The Signs and specially The Village are some of my favourite movies ever! I´m always looking forward for his next movie. He´s unique, i think that unfortunately many people don´t get his movies...
possibly one of the worst directors ever, if only hed quit makeing movies, but he made 60million off of that peice of garbage movie last airbender so my hopes and dreams wont come true soon
@CallMeSparky1 How? because four of his films were misunderstood by the critics? The worst directors ever are exploitation directors, Uwe Boll, and Michael Bay. Bad directors have no redeeming factor, if you look closely in each M. Night film, you can see a shimmer of gold.
@CallMeSparky1 Michael Bay makes good movies? Did you see Transformers 2? it was a movie about nothing, the transformers were hardly in it, the plot paper thin and the cinematography horrible! M Night's films make you think, in every film I've seen him do he makes you question reality, theism and makes you wonder. People just really can't see that because they've stopped listening and want non stop action. BTW, you forgot Praying with Anger and Wide Awake.

@CallMeSparky1 Yes as a matter of fact, I did see the happening, and do you know what it is SCIENCE FICTION!!! It's popcorn entertainment, a big budget B-Movie. The message of the movie is, we will never full understand nature. And yes the cinematography in TF and TF2 was really really bad. Half the time I didn't know what was happening. But you know what truly made him even lower than Ed Wood, going straight from afternoon to evening!

Either, way M Night's films make you think, sure they haven't garnered as much as Michael Bay's movies but not all amazing films were blockbusters, i.e. Titan AE.
