Hello there,,thanks for uploading this videos,,i am a singer and play acoustic guitar, this is very good gear toguether with the Tc helicon for the voice but,,what about the rest,,,what do you recomend me to play live in small closed places,,like pubs. What kind of amplifier? is it enough driving everything through the table and speakers? or do i need an amplifier for acoustic guitar? ive never done acoustic gigs yet! thanks
hello..its me again..i want to know if this tc helicon g-natural is okey to use in guitar amps.only i like g natural because its all perfect sounds for me:D
I don't get it... I've been in the market for something new. TC's people should be ashamed that there are only 2 maybe 3 videos of this G natural... one is of a guy unpacking it (what good is that?) and the others have very little if NO playing guitar thu the product. If you want to see how a product should be demo'd take a look at Roland's GR55 videos. They're so numerous... all playing and jamming... that's how it's done. TC?? This must demonstrate one thing... no one has purchaced this.
Hey... for those guys that LOVE this thing... (including TC's people) post videos that have more playing then talk... in fact as you're playing overlay text as to what we're listening to. In other words... DON'T TALK at all. I want to hear this products effects for the guitar, not the sound of your voice. btw TC people, I'm very interested in this but there isn't enough guitar playing YT video to support it. Why is it TC's website vids are all talk as well? Come on people sell me on this thing
is very suspected that natural g's videos talk more about the marvelous pedal but don't show in a adequate manner the sound results... is very expensive and I believe that the quality guitar is more important in this case... the zoom a2.1u is a good pedal ( I own one) and the price is very low; g natural have more functionalities and possibilities but the most important are the fx in my case.
$700 pedal and they think THIS is going to sell it? Ms Clapp doesn't even know how to use it! I've got one and you could do half an hour, EASY of exploring what this pedal will do. And if I tried, I couldn't make it sound as weak as it does in this video.
Never been done? Of course it has. I'll tell ya, I just LOVE the Korg G-2. (Phil Kaegy uses one) They don't make them anyomre but they come up on Ebay from time to time. Well worth it.
wait, but i wanna know if this is true, no one told me if i was right or not. can you use an effect for your acoustic guitar, and then use a different effect for your voice through the mic ?? as in, reverb for your voice, and phaser for guitar at same time?? for live performances??? if so ill buy one, someone please answer!
so wait, i can use the effects on this for my acoustic electric, and use a completely different effect for my voice at the same time? if this is the case ill buy it if not ehhh..
shes talking about modulation..notes going in and out of tune slightly in that specific case..but maybe that processor can do drop tunings as well not sure.
percentage of a half step down, you can alter from 1 to 100 depending on taste, sounds like chorus a bit, usually heavy metal guitarists use it for huge distortion sound
I think most people on Youtube watching would already know you can call up patches and banks by pushing pedals. People on youtube want to hear the different effects and things you can do. Not a run down of the back of the box.
I've sold equipment from people asking me questions from the videos I have on my channel (I've got almost 1.5M hits so far) but I've never had a vendor approach me about how to help them out...
Just think how much more time some guitarists could spend looking at his audience (some never seem to for all the fiddling with presets) if he or she didn't have all these buttons to push...save your money and learn to play better. Imagine all the lessons you could get for $699.95...
"The road to guitar heaven is paved with broken pedalboards."
It looks like the perfect pedal to use at an open mike, where you are at the mercey of the sound guy. With thia you could throw your souns at him instead of hoping he gets your sound.
I've heard great things about these and came to Youtube with a view to buying one. I have to agree with the majority of responses. 21,228 people have viewed this video to date! It's a missed opportunity to show off what I'm told is a fab product in the best light. What can TCE be thinking? It's an exercise in how not to sell. I can't believe they haven't changed this demo. TEC, feel free to contact me and I'll increase your sales exponentially - it'll cost you a pedal!
this is an awesome pedal, i'll say that much. but this ad does nothing for the quality of the pedal. had the ad used someone that was playing the guitar longer than a week, it could've been better
Well, I think the G-Natural is the best Acoustic Guitar processor for Reverb, Delay and Modulation Effects I have ever played. They sound great and the possibilities of connecting and programming the effects is very practical. I think it just depends on what you want.
When this product was first advertised I was kind of excited and couldn't wait to try one. Then I tried it, and basically it sounded like ass!!! No where as good as what I have been using. Just another pro-sumer product.
I am using a discontinued product made by Rane. It is a AP13. With it I am using a Lexicon Alex for effects through the Ranes effects send and return. The preamp is an exellent sounding unit. I am a veteran electric player and for the past 2 years I have been focused on acoustic. In 07 doing 170 dates. I went thru acoustic preamp pedals like water and they just didn't cut the mustard. IMHO the TC is a effects unit not a quality preamp.
Actually, you are correct - but they don't advertise it as a preamp. (Kind of like criticizing a floor wax for not being a good dessert topping.) It has effects, but also eq & comp, gate, limiter and it has two channels in one unit which in itself sets it apart from most (as does Ap13) . You are supposed to have a preamp in the chain before the G-natural.
I use a Mackie Onyx 1620 that has a dedicated chan for guitar with-I presume-a built in pre amp? So would that be suitable as a pre amp in the chain you think?
