white stripes may not the be jimi hendrix, or whatever else people say they're not as good as, but they're simple and have a story behind their stuff. and they interpret classic blues into modern music, which is hard to find today. sorry, but in a world where lady gaga and soulja boy and nickelback are drowning out the airwaves, I appreciate bands like them. i love the white stripes, they've been my favorite band since 2006.

Kurt Cobain wasn't Jimi Hendrix, but he wasn't trying to be. His strength was in his song writing, and he had an iconic style.

Jack White, on the other hand, is a blues master. As a former living breathing Nirvana junky, I can easily say that the Stripes win musically and Jack is amazingly talented. Hoorah!

I think that Dave Ghroel(dont know how to spell his last name) was the best in that band. Jack White has proven time and time again that he can turn anything he does into great music.
