  • 1. was good

    2. was mediocre but still watchable (felt dragged on near the end).

    3. was horrible (Michael Gross, or more particularly, Burt Gummer cannot carry a movie by himself to save his life. He's solely for comedic relief only.)

The Legend Begins: was back to being only mediocre (The new Gummer was more interesting, being the pompous rich city-boy thrown into the wild and whatnot.)

  • How is it that you are allowed to have footage of the movie uploaded without universal cracking down on you?

  • 1 and 2 were great, 3 was actually not as bad as some people think, and 4 is actually a decent prequel. i really am looking forward to a 5th film, but i've heard rumors that there might be a remake. Hollywood NEVER learns.

  • wow, your first experience with this movie is exactly the same as mine, only i came into the movie 5 minutes late and never caught the title. a friend of mine talked about the monsters alot and went on about the movies daily but i never connected that this movie and the one he talked about were related until about a year later when i caught it again. love the series, and good review i might add! =) i

  • I don't think you needed to cover the monsters in your review. They're very well done and it's a good idea, but the real strengths of the movie are what you focused on. The characters, the acting and dialogue and the tone of the film. 'Tremors' is a delight and can be re-watched just to savour how well thought out and made this film was. Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon are good actors and engaging personalities. Pity the directro went on to make Pluto Nash, after City Slickers.

  • I only seened part 1 lol

  • I think the 3rd is the best and I think the 4th killed the series....WRITE UNIVERSAL TO GREEN LIGHT THESCRIPT FOR Tremors 5!!! Please!

  • the second film is my favorite most nostalgic movie!

  • Awsome review for a kickass film!!!

  • The whole cast was great. Not a line seems added but all blended together to flow naturally. One great scene is when they first see part of the monster attached under the truck and everyone has a line that works and no one is left out.

Another great addition about this movie (or lack thereof) is the fact there is no CGI monsters in this movie. Would you believe a CGI monster crashing into the rec room with guns firing at it?

  • have you seen the series

  • There is one shortcoming regarding monsters in the movie. If they are a part of evolution, their hearing mechanisms must be better than what you see. They should be able to detect whether there's a thick wall in front or dead end. For example, murciélagos can fly no problem being blind, successfully avoiding obstacles.

  • Same here man!

  • i love tremors 1 and 2. 3 was ok, and 4 just wasnt that great. awesome video though!

  • One of my favorite Movie Series. I just watched all the Movies and the TV Series again. And again i had a lot of fun with those.

  • I love this film. But only first one. It's funny and original.

  • Tremors is from 1990 not 1989 right? still nice review ;)

  • I love Kevin Bacon's character in this movie. He was hilarious. I didn't see a single problem with this movie. So I give it a 5/5.

  • Does anyone know the song that's playing when the oil tank thing explodes on val and earl? If you know, please tell me

  • 1 is awesome,2 is my favourite,3 is good,4 I thought was great,especially its music track.

  • You forgot the TV Series

  • "Thought you called it your pecker" XD

  • 1. Excellent

    2. Very Good

    3. Not bad

    Havent seen the 4th yet

  • you can watch it on youtube in high quality, but that one has Mexican subtitles. But their not on top of the movie.(Please don't mark this as spam)

  • I have all 4

    1:Just pure awesomeness!!!!!

    2:Really Great!!!

    3:Pretty Good!!!

    4:It's a decent sequal!

  • 1 was my favorite. 2 was ok. 3 was meh. never saw the 4th one. and i liked the show cuz burt was in the show.

  • Eddie Guerrero

  • i used to love this movie as a kid, me and my friends would watch it over and over.....

  • i loved 1, #2 was my favorite, 3 was good, i was a little disappointed in the prequel, they learded in 5 minutes what took the tremors 1 charectors half the movie to learn, and i am excited about the 5th, but i think they should have ended it atfer the 2nd movie, but they can't leave it hanging now, i hope #5 will be the last in the graboids rein of terror

  • wait they r making number 5?

  • @cobwebe Gah no! They wanna make 4 - 5 more :D

  • all good things need to come to an end. its not that i don't appreciate them its just that you can't make too many sequals or it just ruins it all, 3 and 4 were good but as i said it seemed to me thaat they could have ended it after 2

  • yup,and the TV series can go on and on...

  • @ToiletRule ...yet I just found out that they only made 13 episodes because they were low on money.

  • 1 was REALLY GREAT. 2 was good. 3 was VERY entertaining. And 4 was pretty likable.

  • The reason the film works for me is that the characters are well-written - quirky but believeable. This being a Hollywood movie, you might expect more of the typical Hollywood stereotypes. But here, the handymen aren't just dumb sexist hicks, the female grad student doesn't smugly have all the answers and always "put the men in their place", the survivalists aren't evil and stupid, the children aren't precocious. Everyone works together, using their wits and what is available to survive.

  • i can't wait untill tremors 5 comes out

  • it did like 6 years ago lol

  • 3 was good and funny...actually more of a comedy than the other ones...4 wasnt that good though

  • 1 and 2 were the best then it started getting crappy

  • 3 and 4 are ok..

  • 00:30 I thought Graboids had Orange blood.

  • i dont think its a chiller i think its a thriller

  • yeah i fucking love these movies

  • That's crazy, I have seen this movie more then 40 times word is bond, and there's scenes on here that I've never scene before...very thorough review, you capture the essence of what the movie is really about, a rare gold mine among the coal...I'm going to go look for it right now...keep it up!

  • Great review. Keep up the good work. I haven't seen this movie in a long time. I'm definitely going to watch it again. :)

  • been throw perfection vally navada once they do sell the graboid toys there lol nice place for a relaxing vacation

  • lol how can you give a serious review of the film?

  • I agree whole heartedly. I've always love the movie.

  • 1st and 2nd were GREAT. 3rd was ok and 4th was mediocre.

  • The 5th is coming.

  • isnt ok and mediocore the same thing?

  • @ScyferDown yes

  • You didn't focus enough on the monster angle nor did you really capture the essence of the movie with this review. However, you show promise. Keep at it!

  • Thanks for the comments in my next film review I'll try better :)

  • Burt and Heather rock!!!

  • many people my dislike this movie due to the fact that most horror films carry with them a reputation of bad actors and corny schemes. But in all reality, this film has great actors and acting compared to many movies and shouldn't be overlooked just because of the category it lies under.

  • Burt and Heather are so awesome.

  • Burt was always my favorite of the movie, mainly because I'm a bit of a gun/explosives nut and I find him hilarious (especially in the second movie, which I also liked a lot :))

  • I was watching this a few days ago!!! :D

  • one of my favorite movies of all time. actually its the first movie i've ever owned. I was 2 when i saw it for the first time.

  • if anyone is experienced of monster movies maybe he could help recall the title of that movie i forgot. it was about creatures attacking people in a casino with aliens coming out of an old man and insects and frogs eating ppl out. was sick but i want the title plz?

  • Hmm... a casino. Probably Wishmaster?

  • the best monster movie eva!

  • That movie is shockingly good. It makes no sense that a monster movie would be so good.

  • only the first movie is good..and has the right amount cleverness, comedy, and suspense..THE REST SUCK..AND SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN MADE!!

  • The rest are good.

  • personal opinion i dont share it.

  • You should've talked more about the graboids...

  • While the graboids are the main plot device in Tremors, I think it was perfectly fine for him to mainly cover the character profiles, cause if you think about it, the characters and their chemistry together are the best part of Tremors, not the graboids

  • Tremors kicks ass!

  • GRABOID!

    Tremors was awesome

Tremors 2 wasn't better than Tremors but it was pretty good none the less, with the introduction of the graboid offspring, the shriekers

Tremors 3 was dumb, Ass Blasters lol

Tremors 4 pales in comparison with Tremors but it worked out not too badly as a prequel

When they come out with Tremors 5 in 2012 (D00MSYEAR) it will be directed by Uwe Boll and feature a new creature - shit stormer

oh shit just googled it, tremors 5 new blood it might actually be made O.o

  • The first two are the best.

  • Really great movie

  • kevin bacon looks like an elf

  • tremors 1 was awesome

  • This is definitely on my top 5 list of favorite movies.

  • Mine too bud.

  • I just finished watching this movie and I loved it I mean come on! We all grew up watching Tremors.

  • lol i know but i was born in 92:/

  • I really loved this movie as a child and i still like it but the sequels weren't as good as the original. I've seen Tremors 1 - 3 but not the 4th. Should i bother renting it for 5 dollars or just leave it? Nice review by the way

  • I've seen 4, and it's supposed to be the beginning of Tremors. It's not worth 5 bucks- wait until it's on TBS or something.

  • You should go rent it.

  • my favorite movie of all times

  • LOL "OOO i broke a nail" And Vals list is halarious i love this movie

  • I saw all 3 of the movies on sci-fi and i went to get the 4 on dvd and what sucks is that sci-fi cuts so much crap out of these movies it sucked.

  • so, rojira, what do you think of the other films in this series?

  • Well just quickly:

I think the second film is the best of the sequels. I really liked the character of Grady. The third film is still entertaining and Michael Gross carries the film very well as Burt Gummer but I feel the film itself is a bit weaker.

The prequel wasn't the best but I still like that one too.

May review the others sometime in the future ;)

  • all the tremor shows were very underrated. they were fun shows to watch and I wish sci-fi hadn't have canceled the tv show.

  • i love this movie the 2nd was decent but the rest was boring

  • I enjoyed this. You should review the other films as well.

  • Great review

  • nice! :) i really love this movie.. i hope that there will be a sequel 5 in this movie where in all of the original characters where on it.. that would be really awesome!(Tremors 5 - Reunion) Burt Gummer Rules!

  • You sound bored.

    Bit still... good job!

  • Yeah I certainly wasn't bored while recording it but I can completely understand that I sound bored. I will definitely work on that for my future video reviews :)

  • Well done, it's apparent that you scripted what you said. Good use of clips, too.

  • Yeah I find it's much easier for me to speak clearly and succinctly for video reviews if I have what I'm saying scripted.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • you forgot the tv series starring Burt

  • Thanks for the heads up, I totally forgot about the TV series!

  • np man

  • Great review, I love this series.

  • kevin bacon kix ass!!!!

  • great job, i love this movie, and it wouldnt be tremors without reba mcentire(my hero) i love her so much as a person, actress, singer, and everythin. love her!
