That's why our GDP is so high, because we have a lot of people, and those people are the 9th richest in the World on average.

They GDP is not big because they are not developed yet. If there is no productivity than GDP would be 0.
In America if majority of people are employed, productivity is higher. But its growth rate is low if you compare with lets say Brazil. Why Americans think they know everything?

Nigeria is better place to live and its people are richer than Americans? Your argument was that Americans are poor, you were wrong. Why you're talking about growth rates at all is beyond me, because they have nothing to do with Americans being poor RIGHT NOW, which they are not.

@pgthinker007 I'll presume you're aware of what per capita income is. The US, according to the IMF, is ranked 9th highest in the World, China is 94th, Russia is 56th, Brazil is 51st, Mexico is 61st. The US is actually more populous than the last three, and our per capita is about 4 times what there's is, and almost 10 times what China's is. That's why our GDP is so high, because we have a lot of people, and those people are the 9th richest in the World on average.

Again, America is a largiest country compare with other industrialized nations. And almost everybody is employed, but if food stamp programs increase, I doubt US can keep its economic stability. @pgthinker007 China's population is something around 4 times ours, and our GDP dwarfs theirs by 3 to 1. Pretty sure the population excuse isn't valid. Our GDP is so high because both our population and our per capita are high, perhaps the only nation in the World where's that been achieved, since India and China have huge populations but their per capitas are very low. The United States combines both, so that's why. I doubt you know my country's problems better than me, that's an arrogant claim.

They GDP is not big because they are not developed yet. If there is no productivity than GDP would be 0.
In America if majority of people are employed, productivity is higher. But its growth rate is low if you compare with lets say Brazil. Why Americans think they know everything?

It's not like China and India were around centuries before the US or anything. They failed, we succeeded. Growth rates are lower, because we're at the top, developing nations grow faster, Spain's growth rate is superior to Germany's, does that mean Spain is richer than Germany? Sadly, I agree the intelligence level, understanding of other places in the world, geography, world politics, etc. are frankly dismal in the US. Test scores have simply shown that the level of education in the US has slipped drastically.
