I do think though that we have a pretty good class coming up although we have had a couple of good guys coming to rocky top. i think we could win the east this year. thats if our running game gets going which i think it will. it cant get much worse. but go vols man good feeling about this year. saying we will go at least 9-3 10-2 at the best.
@zacmtrou 10-2 would be incredible....heard a stat that amazed me.....we've recruited something like 39 or so 4star players in the last 3 years...only 3 of them have panned out....that's not good...hopefully that number changes
From an outsider looking in, it seems to me that Dooley needs to go. He has lost the locker room. When your QB says he isn't going to rehab because he's just going to go to a "crappy Bowl anyway", that's bad. It does not matter if you are 2-9. Those players should have the attitude that they cannot wait to get out there and represent the Big Orange! Guys like that should be shown the door no matter what position they play or how highly recruited they were.
Dooley seems to have no grip on the program at this point and could be panicking. I have read 2-3 articles about Dooley calling Henderson and explaining to him to possible pursue other universities. He has now lost Kenny Crawley a 4 star DB, a position the Vols need depth at. Dooley needs to make a big impact this coming season or he should be let go. Do you agree?
