so, can this be used on curves as well? or is it just harder to do curves with a walking foot? I have to do lots of curves on my project but I need a walking foot cause I use lots of knits and stretchy fabric. Thanks.

I'm not a quilter but I do want to know/understand each accessory that came with my sewing machine and I had absolutely NO idea what a walking foot was. Now I do!
@phx2cun I am glad you found my information helpful. Use your walking foot anytime you are sewing multiple layers of fabric together to keep them moving evenly. I especially like to use it when I sew fleece! Even 2 layers of fleece move much better with a walking foot, as they don't stretch or slip around as much.
