Wow, thanks to this I think I finally understand how to keep the flame sword for longer periods...even while TASing I never really knew how that worked, I just kept reloading until I got it. =P Great run!
One tip I never knew until recently: In the cave level, you can just make the blue dragon fall down the pit.

You LIE your using a turbo controller. Beat the game with out the aid of the mighty turbo button. The game is brutal with out it.
