Please correct me if i am wrong.... We could add a third element (directly north) and with the correct phase alignment, fill the null in that area only?
@nicksix71 Trouble is, you can't put two dipole antennas that close and only "fill-in" the hole. They will interact with each other and phase trouble will rise wrom such an array. Antenna arrays are more complex systems, basicaly it goes down to trigonometry, but it is not that simple to calculate all effects in arbitrary directions by hand.
