It's called vowel modification... all singers do it, whether they admit it or not...

haha I hope you don't (assuming you're a singer) sing "Uh" wherever you feel like singing loudly. There's vowel modification and different vowels. One can sing tall "ah" vowels (don't have IPA here) and "eh", but that is straight up "UUUUH". lol
