I'm following the general consensus here,this is an excellent documentary.No sensationalism,spooky music .Some fantastically rare interviews with all the genuine persons involved ,and none of the usual exaggeration,which,let's face it,is totally unnescessary when dealing with such a bizarre story as this .

Thank you for this - it's really good to hear a non sensationalized account of Crowley. So many other documentaries fill in the gaps with scary music, conjectures from the popular press and disjointed references to texts he wrote. To hear accounts of people who actually knew him are very valuable to decoding the enigma.

@PravdaDeus yes, this is typical of BBC Radio Four's quality journalism, far removed from the MTV cutting and such we're all irritated by; this doesn't insult the intelligence of the listener.
