He did say that there are no acoustic guitars on the album, but as we know the foos are great at most styles of rock, there were bound to be one or two more melodic tracks. I think it's probably just coincidence that we happen to have only heard a slightly less heavy track so far.

@JuiKuen classic and greatest FF period, in my opinion, is before chris shiflet joined and it was mainly chord based. the first two albums were where the real magic happened and this song doesn't really do it for me either, sounds like if there were an album in between TCATS and TNLTL. don't care about the solos too much, I just wanna hear some great riffs, LIKE EVERY SONG ON THE FIRST ALBUM. but i guess times change and we're gonna have to deal with whatever amazing material they put out anyway
