Thanks for posting. I was very disappointed with the quality degradation via the software and did not realise the .m2ts files could be uploaded directly. Much slower as no compression but well worth it for the quality.
I had the same problem with the my first try and am still figuring out how to get it like this video test. Could you please tell me how you made it HD because I have the same software and you could know, Thanks and a great video too!
I've tried so many times to upload all my Reading festival videos to You Tube on my Panasonic Photo Fun Studio and it just won't work!! I've been told that all the files have to be converted. I've waited for 3 weeks now, I just can't be bothered to with it. I never realized how complicated it was. I think I will stick with my Sony Cybershot to film from now onwards!

How did you figure out how to upload AVCHD from Lumix camera? DO you just upload the *.m2ts file?

I have since bought an FT1 and a 16GB card and it says around 2.05 hours in best quality.
I was worried about the 15 minute limit that i heard about on some units but i've recorded well past that on mine already! :-)
