The voice in this version sounds much more mysterious, which is what the story is at the beginning, when this appears in the game. It also sounds a little less professional, and more normal, as if someone were narrating something, not performing a song.

It's possible, if they use the Realta-Nua version. H-content is replaced by some stupid explanations like in the anime or the movie, which ruins Heaven's Feel's story imo.

Amazing...I've been looking for this original version for ages! I have Sachi Tanaka's but it really doesn't sound the same, you know? It has much lighter tone that doesn't seem to fit. It's nice all the same but I like this one a lot more. Thanks for uploading!

there are multiple openings in the pc version of the game (and likely the ps2 version as well) that are unlocked as you beat arcs ect. This, as far as I am concerned, is the most complete version and is likely the same in both the PC and the PS2 version. The PS2 version does have a few extras though, such as the ending scene at Avalon.

So they use the entire song, mix in bits and pieces of the other 2 openings, mix some of the in-game art, and this happens.

It's pretty good, I must say.

The opening to the game trumps the anime opening by far.

I can't remember what studio produced the anime, but they didn't do the game justice at all. It wasn't horrible, but wasn't great.

You can tell Type-Moon aren't incredible at animating things, because the actual animation in this opening has pretty bad quality compared to the CGs in the game.

Singing in the anime opening is actually much better overall, I think, because a more powerful voice is better for this. Still very good, though.

Seen as two different pieces of music, I like the anime version better, mainly because of Tainaka Sachi's incredible voice and because of the overal incredible orchestal-like composition.

Speaking of remixes, have you heard the new 2010 one? It sounds... okay, but when you pair it up with the original Disillusion (after sound editing the sh*t out of it) it sounds really good.

They are actually different. The chord progressions differ in some parts, giving the game op (This Illusion) a sadder, more haunting feel, while the anime op (Disillusion) has a happier, uplifting feel during those same parts.

X3 this version of Disillusion kicks the pants off of Tainaka Sachi's version. Don't get me wrong, though. Sachi's version is good as well. I just think this one is more haunting. Yay for semi-operatic vocals and techno-ish beats
