Valentina’s playing unlocks some parts that one has listened to dozens of times

and never really heard. A marvellous combination of technical skill and empathy, and such a nice person. Please Valentina record more stuff, we can’t all get to a live performance. I’m getting old, but bless that I have lived to hear you play.

Bösendorfer - It is really different, I once had the chance to play on a Bösendorfer Grand Concerto Piano and I was immeditaly positively shocked. Its sound is a very round, warm and sweet one, a piano you have to expore a bit more than others, and it's in my eyes the best one for Melancholic Classical Music.

Valentina lisitsa n'est pas une pianiste ordinaire, c'est une espèce d'ovni dans le monde de la musique pianistique, dès qu'elle "s'approprie une oeuvre en la jouant, elle lui donne toute sa fraicheur d'origine comme si elle la réinventait sous ses doigts. Elle ne donne pas l'impression de l'avoir apprise, mais de la découvrir spontanément comme venant d'elle même. Bravo Valentina et merci pour votre immense talent
