I saw Tommy live for the first time tonight, at the Palladium in St. Petersburg, FL. When he was about to play "Tall Fiddler" he asked if we wanted to hear it "fast", "really fast" or "light speed". Most people shouted "really fast" or "light speed". So, he said he would start at really fast and then jump to light speed. Well, all I can say is -- I think he created a tear in the space time continuum!!!!! Man, can he wail on a guitar!!! Great show and showman!

The fingering understandable; I mean it's concievable to get so fast at it, as others have - it's the damn rhythm and the picking that's so mindblowing. All that orientation, with the slamming the strings and the plucking and then the steady roll at the end of the phrase, all that fast. It's mad!
