Paul's voice has changed since the 70's , his phrasing is very different now and his voice has deepened(naturally with age).

I was blessed to see him with Free at least 20 times and Bad Co 15 or 20 times.

Just listen to Free live (remastered version) and you will get what i mean.

None of this means that the guy aint a god!!

His voice always sends a shiver down my spine.
