The ones made between 0:34 and 1:17 were made by a guy with black friends. He made it because his friends were talking about how there wasn't alot of black characters in cartoons. So he made this, show it to his friends and they loved it and thought it was funny. The reason they don't look good as the pictures in the left is because they were drawn in a realistic stlye. The ones on the right were drawn in a cartoon stlye. You can't call this "for children", cause they weren't made for children.

They might not show cartoons like these today, but they shapped a lot of people, whom TODAY are racist. The only way to try to lower it is to see where things went wrong, and learn from the mistakes.

While some of it is indeed pretty racist, some of it is just taking racial features and cartoonizing them. The same way people played on white stereotypes.
In addition, some of those were printed in German or other languages with one of them being a rather realistic picture of an African national of the time.
